with only one group owning it, it kind of makes sense that it would completely stall since there's no one else to defer operations to i don't think red could've done everything on their own and even pre-nagoshi there was no way sega was going to do anything sakura wars-related in 7th gen

another thing i feel like i should point out unrelated to nagoshi is that RED changed hands a couple of times before sega bought the IP from them outright, during its heyday it had mostly been a joint production, which i think is one of the reasons it was able to be so successful

one thing i thought was interesting that i found out was that each of the girls last names are named after stations on the yamanote line, and when you link them together it becomes a pentagram which is symbolism thats already used in the game

finished sayooshi i liked it overall, but i couldn't get the feeling it was a horror vn as described, it is very akin to something like silent hill but it was moreso just a depressing experience also, i feel a little dumb because i was only able to understand some routes a little more than others

i feel like my playtime in fe fates will quadruple that of awakening because despite playing w/ a mod that slightly rebalanced it it ended up not hard on hard mode but from what i understand fates is so well-balanced that if i play with tact and thought i'm fine but if i make one dumb move i die
