im not a remake guy but i am interested in tag force gx, i wish they had remade the story parts of 1-3 to make it all into one game, but i guess including story cutscenes from 1 and 2 is fine the only downside is that i dont want to play with the eng names

obviously the very next story map involves bamboo trap tiles that passively hurt you (and the enemy every turn) and of course, the trap tiles arent what kill me its reinforcements that kill a straggler

i feel like my playtime in fe fates will quadruple that of awakening because despite playing w/ a mod that slightly rebalanced it it ended up not hard on hard mode but from what i understand fates is so well-balanced that if i play with tact and thought i'm fine but if i make one dumb move i die

fire emblem localization is so absurd and strange to me, particularly with character names you'll have the most legible romanizable names ever, usually already based on or inspired by things people outside of japan already know, and then they'll change it to something completely different

playing the recent fe games with things that'll tell you the amount of damage a character will do, have it look like it's guaranteed to kill skip battle your character dies

SayoLara finale prediction

Fan art for the anime series Goodbye, Lara (2026) parodying a scene from The Spongebob Squarepants Movie (2004). Lara and Mari are standing on a beach, drawn much smaller than normal, gazing up past the frame. Mari is wearing her boxing gloves. An off-screen figure says, "I can take you there!" to which Lara replies, "Who are you?" We then see a low angle shot of a man in swim trunks, rendered in a much more realistic style. Lara's dagger hovers distantly in the sky behind him. "I'm David Hasselhoff," the man says. The scene ends with Lara smiling and throwing her fists up in the air in celebration while Mari holds her boxing gloves over her chest, both shouting "HOORAY!" in unison.

some silly wordplay

Sizing Marcie up, Laura asks:
「キツネは吉ね？」(kitsune wa kitsu ne?)
"Foxes are good luck, aren't they?"

Marcie, bewildered, responds:
「なに？」(nani?)
"What?"
