A dark day in Canadian history back in 27 August 1982. I remember that day vividly because I was the driver of the car in front of the one that the Turkish miliary attaché, Atilla Altikat, was in, seeing the shooting in my rear view mirror. I truly thought I was next but, fortunately, he ran off.

Why am I not surprised at how awful the CO2 readings were on the doctor's office. Waiting room packed, no one wearing respirators but coughing and MDs in surgical blues. So utterly depressing.

My riding always votes Conservative and usually by a big margin. But, if this graph is to believed, the Libs stand a chance if the vote isn't split between Libs & NDP. So, come one, NDPers, get with the program. You aren't going to form government but you may end up electing a Conservative one.

Looking through my pantry, I have discovered a lot of stuff which comes from the US or doesn't say anything about their origins. 😱 Weirdly, nearly all the purchases I make at the American grocer Trader Joe's are labelled "Product of Canada" but I can't find similar products in Canada.
