Doot Doot! A comic I've had on the back burner for too long and finally am getting out! Based on the true story of my kid being in a kazoo band in HS lol. Had to get this out there before he starts college so its more relevant hehe I'll show ofd more Rita & Josey and etc comics soon!

Panel 1: 4 women stand around or sitting, with the sitting woman saying " I'm excited to see Mehreen perform tonight! What are your kids doing?"
Panel 2: one woman with pink hair and smiles while holding a soda can saying "Tia's finally drumming with her band!" And another woman has her hand on her cheek proudly saying "My Jalen has his own original piano piece!"
Panel 3: The 3 women look at Yuki and ask "And what about your Tabi? What does he play?" While Yuki is smirking
Panel 4: Tabi pops out between the 2 standing women to their surprise playing a kazoo while Yuki smugly leans over to present Tabi and says "Kazoo!"

Mother's Day at the Zoo - A new comic based on a true phrase that came out of my mouth lmao Been meaning to get this one out for a while (clearly as US Mother's Day was 2 months ago) but have been moving and busy with other things so drawing has been slow but happy to get this into the world!

Panel 1: Tabi looks back at Yuki with a big smile and says "Let's go see the birds next!" to which Yuki responds "Hell yeah let's do it Tabi!"

Panel 2: A large view of grass and greenery takes up the foreground as Tabi dashes forward and Yuki looks at the grass in frustration.

Panel 3: Yuki's full frustrastion shows as she says "Oooh, so when the zoo has tall grass, it's called a nature exhibit..."

Panel 4: Yuki finishes her sentence while leaning on the wooden fence with her thumb pointed at her "... but when I have tall grass, its called a code violation!" While Tabi stands in the foreground with a devious look saying "Yeah, f that code!"

And then the egg cracked within 4 days lmao Been a while since I've done a proper finished comic so thought I'd have fun with a little "based on a true story" slice of life comic to warm back up, featuring my new adopted kid (long story if you don't already know lol) Hope you enjoy!

A 4 koma comic, starting with me (Yuki) noticing my kid should be back from his sleepover. I'm interrupted by my kid (Tabi) slamming the door opening and asking loudly if I wanna meet my new grandkid. My face shows panic as i say "my new what?!" Only to realize its just an egg with sharpie on it named Betza.

Red Dirt Ruin final pages 19 and 20! Thanks to all who read my comic & if you want to read back, check my profile or link in the bio! My next one shot "Ghost of Gennad" is in the works with a hopeful debut at Thought Bubble in Nov along some smaller comics featuring Rita & Josey so stay tuned! ^_^

A comic page. Josey looks back while defensively bracing herself against Rita and calls out "Where the hell did you come from and why are you here?!"

The person retorts that they could say the same about R&J and how they could let exploring the ship slide but going through their console was crossing a line. Josey looks back at the hologram and says "hold up your console?"

The mysterious man tells them they don't care about the ship but threatens to leave their stuff alone. Meanwhile, Rita grabs their bag to pull out and throw a baseball while yelling "Get away from us!"

Josey reaches out to Rita and begins glowing from her chest for teleporting. They embrace and glow stronger as they head home.

A comic page. Rita & Josey have disappeared leaving behind just a light of where they teleported while the mysterious man remarks that Josey has the same power as him. He turns to the ball that hit him and realizes that it is not Adimasian but of Earth, something the hologram that resembles him mentions he misses. He tears up and has hope to go home for the first time.

Meanwhile in Baltimore on Earth, an exterior shot of "Glenwood's Fix 'Er All" is shown and then an interior shot of Rita & Josey is shown while they chat about if these adventures are normal for Josey. Josey says yes and mentions an artifact she wants to find.

A comic page shows Rita panicking while Josey falls and attempts to catch her. Rita grabs Josey's hand but it slips out and she keeps falling while Rita screams out "Nooo!" Josey however reassures Rita, saying she has an ace up her sleeve as she teleports away with a power she harnesses from inside herself.

A comic page. Josey reappears next to a door saying it was a close call and Rita runs to hug her. Scared to lose her again, Rita hugs tight and Josey offers to put the adventure on hold. Rita agrees until they see something that makes then question a lot.
