Woohoo! They're here! Which one should I play first?

Impatiently waiting for my copies of Control Resonant and Ratatan to show up today. Stalking the delivery maps like I don't have a pile of other games I could be playing in the meantime.

I hate when the random platforming sections of games get me stumped/block progression. Putting P.I. Mouse for Hire to the side until I feel like attempting that nightmare again (or asking my spouse to do it).

Three more sleeps until Lorcana's Hyperia City is out at your LGS! I should probably start deck crafting now...

Got my pot roast in the slow cooker so I can sit back, game, and enjoy Thanksgiving! 🍁

Annette Polis @yuki-pedia.com · 09/10/2026

Well, I was going to go pick up the stuff I need for Thanksgiving dinner after cards on Saturday, but TS Isaias might have other plans for me.

From the minute Elliot's patient talked about her pains and issues on tonight's episode of Scrubs, I knew exactly what the diagnosis would be. Still made me cry when Elliot told the girl she had endometriosis. So glad they wrote this into a script. 💛

Watching the Ted Lasso finale, and so far there's been a blink and you'll miss it cameo.

Saw one of the Flames' farewell Saddledome videos just now and boy do I still hate that I can't go home for one last visit before she's torn down. So many memories in that building, mostly from the nosebleeds, but also cherished ones in the tunnels and press box. 💔

Streaming services should have options for users to disable political ads. I've seen the same ad during every break and I'd love for it to stop.

My Grandmother-in-law turned 100 years old today! She's such an amazing person and I'm sad we couldn't travel to be with her for the occasion.

Annette Polis @yuki-pedia.com · 29/09/2026

Definitely not a fan of this move, Steam/Valve. Curated events are fantastic for discoverability, so is the new release calendar you added. There are so many games I wouldn't know about because Steam thinks I don't play certain genres that are primarily console first for me.

OK, I am way more excited for this than I probably should be. Especially since it's got a 2028 release date...

Once I finish Mouse: PI for Hire, I'll have some time to play Silent Hill Townfall before my Control Resonant hard copy arrives. Only one more big game for me before Christmas, I believe.

Oh man. This episode of Ted Lasso has all the drama and I need it to be next week now.

Annette Polis @yuki-pedia.com · 22/09/2026

Big day for Lorcana players. We're getting card reveals for Hyperia City! Hopefully more than the ones that were already leaked. 😀

Annette Polis @yuki-pedia.com · 22/09/2026

If you went to bed last night doubting the rumours, I hope you're ready to be super disappointed by Xbox/MS again today. (Granted, any day of the week ending in with Y is a day you should be disappointed by Xbox.)

Annette Polis @yuki-pedia.com · 20/09/2026

I'm also trying to clean up the liquor cabinet. Treasures I discovered: two brand new, in-box bottles of Hibiki whisky; one bottle of Manischewitz; a Ball jar of apple pie moonshine a friend made for DragonCon. (IYKYK)

Doing a few runs in Grail and I'm wondering if this is the @thehashtagonist.bsky.social. Hmm....

Screenshot from the Sokpop game Grail. My opponent that round was a player named Wouter, and they were running a 6 card deck based on tavern foods.

Was not expecting to see this at the LGS tonight. Fingers crossed for big hits!

I'm torn on this Physint move. It feels to me like KPJ hadn't delivered anything PS could use to promote the game and keep people invested in it. Xbox still has OD (timed?) exclusivity, and so perhaps a deal was made to back Physint so long as OD hits a hard benchmark (like Helix launch?).

The only Persona 6 leak I want to see right now is how much AI crap SEGA has forced into the game.

I was lucky enough to get into the PixelJunk Monsters 3 playtest and I am having so much fun with it! The animations are so smooth, it works well with my DualSense controller, and the new enchantments can really swing things around.

It's so weird (nice) to be at the LGS on a Friday night and there's only three Commander pods running and two guys playing YuGiOh at another table. That's just how it goes when everyone else braved 400 to go to DragonCon.

Annette Polis @yuki-pedia.com · 03/09/2026

Guys, what the hell are they even doing over there? Stuff like this does not convince me to reinvest in the platform.

Eating dinner, watching SCTV. All is right with my world right now.

Annette Polis @yuki-pedia.com · 01/09/2026

Well, looks like I'll be able to start streaming again! I just need to reorganize my streaming space and get everything back to how it used to be, so I think I'll start up next week.

I've been scouring our area for two days and now I'm only missing three of these Godzilla toys. Going to drive a bit further out today and see what we can find.

I have 700 hours combined playtime in all of the Kingdom games just on Steam (not sure about my PS playtime) so you know I sure as hell am getting this game on launch day.
