Good news: our downtown branch reopens tomorrow at 9am! Our pest control company reported a higher-than-usual incidence of bedbugs in downtown Ypsilanti in recent weeks. If you are currently dealing with bedbug, please hold off on visiting the library until the issue has been treated and resolved.

This is very cool. When I did my own light switch covers, I used tissue paper, leaves, water & white glue rather than inking them. Totally different process -- I was doing collage, this is more like watercolour painting. But I *can* vouch for how peachy keen it is to customize your switch covers.

Ypsilanti has the largest population of Black residents in Washtenaw County. The wealth of knowledge in this community is incredible, and we are fortunate to be able to capture the experiences and wisdom of some of these folks with regards to farming and food.
