#ticketstubwed 29 years ago, Oasis in what felt like a cattle shed (site was used for agriculture shows and had holding pens). The stage featured designs from the Be Here Now cover. This was the first of 4 gigs I saw them for this tour. £17.50, pre-surge pricing, or £35.80 inflation adjusted.

And I will try to go again, if they’re not putting in £350 surge pricing.

I think it was accurate. Anybody claiming Oasis were incredible was either not there or hasn’t seen them before.

Nice. That Chelsea match was something for the crowd alone.

One of the bands I’ve seen the most, but never with Butler 🙁

Can remember watching Iggy Pop that first day. The 2nd day was all about The Charlatans for me. The flew out to Turkey the next day after getting about 2 hours sleep.

#ticketstubwed Had to be Oasis. 30 years ago it was Knebworth. Forget the hype, Oasis were bang average. The crowd had changed from the early gigs. The Prodigy were good though if that helps. Manics and the Chemical’s stole the day for me.

It was a very average night though to be honest.

The a side of hounds of love is for the single, the b side is where the real pleasure lies. Worth it for And Dream of Sheep alone.

#ticketstubwed 31 years ago today at the old Wembley, Rolling Stones for the Voodoo Lounge Tour. The overriding memory I had was the inflatables suddenly appearing over the stage set for Sympathy for the Devil.

Beardsley because of the date they left the club. Barnes was there way beyond 1991.

Did you ever hear about Jimmy Cauty doing this? Which is why when I saw this in 1996 I barely raised an eyelid. Cauty then used this is done protests somewhere as well. He had fitted them with Audio Cannons.

If he is anti establishment then surely the first policy he will want is to get rid of the royal family? Is there anything more establishment than the royal family.

TBH, I don't think it's his fanbase at all. What you're seeing is anyone but Farage come out.

London outdoor gigs are really suffering with tickets sales this year. Was at Wolf Alice at the weekend and the Maccabees tonight, neither sold out. Are we seeing just over saturation of outdoor gigs in the capital or has the cost of gigs just reached a tipping point?

Stage time clashing with Prodigy as well, that's one tough gig.

The NME stage is worth the entrance alone. @electrasy.online any memories from this one?

The only other time would be due to transport issues getting back from London.

#ticketstubwed Anniversary week for these 2 gigs. It was wet. By the 2nd the Finsbury Park was like a swamp. Oasis were awful, not helped by the weather. By the 2nd night we walked out halfway through. The support acts were brilliant though, especially The Charlatans.

I love the Magic Numbers. But nothing tops them owning a guest house in the Harry Hill movie.

Why is it that the opening salvo of any racist rant or comment often starts with “I’m not a racist but…”. Why do people think I want to hear this crap as well? Here’s something for you, what you’re saying is racist and that makes you a racist.

This isn’t about replacing those engineers. This is about giving them a co-worker to carry out this. They were still responsible for rolling out the fixes in a controlled manner. There is so much more than making a cartoon version of a picture. 4/4

It is highly likely we would still be on that support call now if it wasn’t for that. Add to that, every support call at a critical level costs us additional money. Estimates are that it saved us, after costs, around £8000. AI is a tool, how we’re benefit from it is up to us. 3/x

From that we were able to issue a fix, get users back fully operational and produce a full report to management on the issue. It saved us around 24 hours of additional engineering. It freed up our engineers to carry on with other work, rather than being sat on a support call. 2/x

Yesterday it analysed 3 log files for me. Each one it truncated to 50K lines. I told it which one was the system showing errors. That analysis took it around 2 minutes to come up with a fix. This was after watching the supplier support not solve it for 48 hours. 1/x

Saw them for the first time in 95 to match this release as well. Now all I need is for Gaz to look his age because he’s putting all of us to shame.

#TicketStubWed Been away so haven’t had one for a few weeks. Let’s do this though, The Stone Roses at Heaton Park, 14 years ago. We were so far back but it still felt like we were down the front. Amazing atmosphere, stunning gig from a band I missed the first time around.

I’m going to echo the “possibly the best record of all time” here… or is it Strangeways… or is it just The Smiths.

Try searching it and you’ll find plenty of studies. Multiple theories why this happens, including the energy needed to defend said food would be higher than the energy gained from it. It not altruistic it seems, more common sense. Maybe it’s time to start attacking the hoarders 🤔

Chemical Brothers are the one bands everybody should see if on at a festival they’re at. Saw them a few times this way and it’s such a communal feel good experience.

As one of those children, this block is a pointless exercise. As an IT consultant for many years I always understood that my children knew more about bypassing such blocks than I did. They’re trying to control the most technically able generation ever and it won’t work.

Members of the Vaccines & New order, Bonehead & Liam Gallagher, James Dean Bradfield were all present. Motorcycles Emptiness on acoustic was pure musical genius. Liam, Bonehead and The Charlatans playing My Sweet Lord (on YouTube) was just sublime. 🫡 Jon.

#TicketStubWed @thecharlatans.bsky.social & Friends - A Night for Jon Brookes. Those not familiar with The Charlatans, Jon was their drummer who sadly passed away from a brain tumour. A generational talent and all round wonderful person. This night for him was truly deserved. 1/2
