I went to see about a Great Horned Owl today .. she's roosting!! I hope to go back and see the Owlets!

Thanks Anne! Yeah, I know a broad area received substantial snow. We will be dealing with bitter cold temperatures for more than a week yet. We're talking water pipe breaking, fast hypothermia from exposure etc. Anyway, take good care 🤗 Oh a redware pottery plate with a snowman 😃

@annewilkie5225.bsky.social Hello again Anne! Hope you're doing just fantastic. We had our snow with a topping of sleet (not sure how many inches but 16 +). My neighbor helped me dig out since my snowblower is protesting 🤣 We will be below freezing for several days 🙄

The first Peony blooms since transplanting this bush in 2020 from my old house yard! I originally transplanted it from aged neighbors in 2007 to my previous house. 🌸

I went to a few greenhouses for a pick-me-up and it worked! Doesn't a greenhouse have a calming effect? I brought home a few Hellebores!

Hellebores in a garden pot....it is an off-white color with a magenta center.

Hellebores with psle pink and off white flowers... brought it from a greenhouse and it's still in the plastic, clay-colored pot.
