Had a few people not like the fact that they're Nonbinary either because "It's not needed in a platformer" or "aliens shouldn't have human concepts attached to them" All I can say is Just wait until you find out what the game is about.

SPOILERS: One of the rare events has the graphics of the environment become more primitive. I really like how old 3D PC games looked, so this was kind of my way to reference that. The music even changes into a midi version of itself! (Screenshots are from an old test build that auto loads it)

I love how the reception of You🦊 as a character has been 50% "This is my new best friend and I will destroy anyone who hurts them" and 50% "This thing is secretly evil and wants to skin me alive and wear my head as a trophy" and there is just no in-between LOL (not complaining it's really funny)

On top of this, one of the changes I'm making is the option to disable screen effects, and static effects for better view and performance While the game won't look as pretty with these turned off, I wanted to be considerate to the people playing on lower end / unsupported devices #yougame #devlog
