A Yote review of Coyote Vs. Acme. An absolutely solid movie. It’s a shame it was shelved for so long. Also got great seats for it!

Yesterdays curveball: I helped install a DvLED video wall. About 4 hours of work (not including wall and power prep). I wasn’t supposed to be on that project, but it was a nice change or pace 🤣

Thanks for the chance!!

It’s really good quality too! I gotta shout out @theprizecounter.bsky.social for getting me into bag tags. I got their “Pan” and “Coyote” tags on the other side of my bag!

010

Vordex @yote.tech · 01/08/2026

Got my haul from @motel777.xyz today! I’m slowly adding more bag tags onto my backpack XD

2 days of work unboxing, setting up and labeling 86 AVoIP endpoints for a project. I’m so glad I wrote my own setup script so I didn’t have to do the setup by hand!

Got my two new pairs of @nomadcomplex.com lounge pants! I’m already in love and can’t wait to enjoy them! They join my two OG ones that are my most fav lounge wear ever!

TIL AMC sells a “MegaBag” of popcorn as long as you’re carrying it out, along with a bottle of their butter flavored oil. It’s apparently 4 large bags worth

Back to reality, but already put down a deposit on a placeholder for our next one! Now to decide if it’s the South Caribbean or Mediterranean, since we’re both a bit Bahama-ed out

Vordex @yote.tech · 04/07/2026

Apparently they will let coyotes on the bridge of a ship! Had to resist hard not to press buttons! (More photos and my travel photos/blog/reviews channel here: t.me/yotetechtrav...)

Admin team: “Hey what’s the status of your truck? Anything wrong with it?” Me: “91k miles, tires age out this year, oh and the rear doors don’t open” Admin team: “ok, for the doors get 3 quotes to get them fixed” Me: O_o $20 in parts and 2 hours later I have working rear doors.

My trip was going too smooth so of course I had to hit a snag. 4 Dallas flights this morning got weather canceled. Best they could do is a 5:20pm flight out. Today is just lost >.<

Another PridFest in the books! I rocked a pride kilt this time and love it! My job was getting all our entertainers back and forth from the state to the green room and keeping the show on schedule as much as possible! Yote Uber in a golf cart XD

It never gets old taking an empty arena and loading in, running, and striking an entire robotics competition in ~3.5 days. One down, two more to go for my 2026 season!

Day 0, Field Build and team load-in day. Starting the day in a local openly queer coffee shop. Sad part is, next two days our calltime is after they open. I many need to sneak out and get my daily coffee 🤣

Yote.Tech now (finally) lives in a proper rack. For the longest time, the router, switch, and UPS lived on the closet shelf and the server lived on a TV tray! 😅 Next up is a plex server upgrade, some network upgrades, and terminating all the house Ethernet to a patch panel!

Vordex @yote.tech · 28/12/2025

Happy Yote Moment: I got myself a 25U server rack (finally). Yote.Tech currently rests on a TV tray 😅. Dumbass Yote moment: the rack rails I thought were for the server are actually for the UPS, so I got to wait to populate it…

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I’m so thankful for @sillyserval.lol and all my friends! I (finally) gave into her and got her a hot tub XD

This weekends unexpected home repair? My water heater crapped out. Luckily the tank is still in decent condition so I threw in new themoststs, heating elements, and a new anode in for good measure. A service and flush was on my winter shutdown project list, it just decided to up the timeframe 🤣

020

Vordex @yote.tech · 17/11/2025

Starting to really (finally) trust my 3D printer and try printing an ergo mechanical keyboard from the Cosmos generator. Probably need to do a cheep build to see if I really like it and what I want/need in a more final build

I’ve got opinions about this cruise and most likely won’t sail MSC again, but I can’t pass up a Lego version of the ship! (Im collecting models of the ships I sail on)
