Week 1 #cassettebeasts Inktober submission. Had this idea for an Archangel for a while now, so might as well actually bring it to life. Galath, Corrupt Knight, incarnation of corruption. Because conquest builds empires, but someone has to stay and keep the place running. @byttenstudio.bsky.social

Cassette Beasts Inktober submission.

Archangel Galath, Corrupt Knight.

The top and bottom texts are truncated lyrics from Same Old Story, a song from the Cassette Beasts OST.

Info/description for Galath, Corrupt Knight

Galath, #???

Bio 1

Despite being an ancient Archangel, Galath has quickly adapted to a more bureaucratic approach to resolving conflict. He wields the Unholy Grail, which stores a cursed substance said to grant eternal death to those who questioned his methods.

Bio 2

The incarnation of corruption, Galath joined Aleph’s “Round Table” early on, but he was more interested in meddling with human affairs, ensuring that the empires the Red King left behind would continue to exist in perpetuity.

Secondly now that it’s the start of week one of the cassette beasts inktober (which im dubbing cbtober) im posting my archangel! here’s Rosie, the incarnation of nostalgia! mainly inspired by a Certain Song but also kidcore, etc #cassettebeasts #cassettebeastsoc @byttenstudio.bsky.social!

Taking on the appearance of a young child, Rosie charms humans with their youthful,
energetic demeanor to pay
attention to it and "play" with her.
With an extreme fear of being ignored and forgotten about,
Rosie is known to transform into a monstrous form and kill humans if she
thinks she's not "wanted".
The incarnation of nostalgia,
Rosie represents a pastiche
of the various things humanity has muted in and forgotten about, all but a memory.

📼CB Inktober 📼 Week 1: Design an Archangel Had two ideas for this so decided to do them both and it was honestly a lot of fun. First time throwing a bit of mixed media too. Insolar: Incarnation of Isolation Dullerhan: Incarnation of Conformity #cassettebeasts #inktober @byttenstudio.bsky.social

Insolar- The One and Only
Incarnation of Isolation

"The Tower guarding Insolar's celestial body consists of two separate appendages under its control that protect the core from any approaching threat. It has the power to isolate individuals in the heat of battle, focusing fire on them and preventing damage from their companions."

Dullerhan- Masks Of The Many
Incarnation of Conformity
"Formed from the desires of those who shun individuality to fit in, Dullerhan seemingly no longer has a true face of it's own, Instead it dons one of it's many masks to match the situation it finds itself in. Dullerhan can then will those in it's presence to match,"

Had an idea for a jester OC design in the works for a while and recently managed to work through the struggles to get a design I'm happy with. This is Tina: Court Jester and escape artist by necessity.

A reference sheet for Tina. A jester character with heavy guillotine theming. The reference sheet contains a front view and back view, a close up of her eyes and the bells on the tips of her large hat. It also has her colour palette for ease of access.

The armour on her upper body is orange primarily whilst the pieces protecting her legs are grey. including several sheets that resemble crab claws.
