tw: teeth #cassettebeasts #inktober The archangel who protects the fourth (and fifth) walls. (hey, @byttenstudio.bsky.social , who is that anyway?!)

A three-panel comic.
Panel 1: Cass (brown-haired enby with curly brown and pink hair and glasses) stands in front of a parchment mural hanging on the wall. The mural depicts Aleph, Morgante, an unidentified third, as well as a tower with a halo. Cass points at the unidentified figure and asks, "So if you're the building, then who's this?" Miss Amber (a woman with short black hair and decorated with circular earrings, a gold band around her head, and strange gold and black circles floating behind her head) is standing in the foreground. She replies, "That's--" but the next word is censored by a black rectangle.
Panel 2: Cass turns around, eyes wide in bewilderment, looking back at Miss Amber. "What?" they ask. Amber herself is also looking back over her shoulder, though she seems more annoyed. "One sec..." she answers.
Panel 3: Miss Amber is standing beside a round table with a martini glass on it. The being seated at the table is a massive orb with pixelated teeth and two floating hands with pointy fingers. A box below her identifies the being as "'Señora Censora'; Archangel of Secrets." Miss Amber looks at Señora Censora with her hands on her hips and asks, "Do ya mind?" Señora Censora replies, "SORRY HIJA, THE HIGHER-UPS SAID NO SPOILERS," lifting an index finger for emphasis.

Week 1 #cassettebeasts Inktober submission. Had this idea for an Archangel for a while now, so might as well actually bring it to life. Galath, Corrupt Knight, incarnation of corruption. Because conquest builds empires, but someone has to stay and keep the place running. @byttenstudio.bsky.social

Cassette Beasts Inktober submission.

Archangel Galath, Corrupt Knight.

The top and bottom texts are truncated lyrics from Same Old Story, a song from the Cassette Beasts OST.

Info/description for Galath, Corrupt Knight

Galath, #???

Bio 1

Despite being an ancient Archangel, Galath has quickly adapted to a more bureaucratic approach to resolving conflict. He wields the Unholy Grail, which stores a cursed substance said to grant eternal death to those who questioned his methods.

Bio 2

The incarnation of corruption, Galath joined Aleph’s “Round Table” early on, but he was more interested in meddling with human affairs, ensuring that the empires the Red King left behind would continue to exist in perpetuity.

🌠 In Time by The Black Keys #cassettebeasts #cassettebeastsoc

beatrix castillo, my cassette beasts oc, behind eugene cassette beasts. each of them have something strange physically happening to them representative of their respective archangel storylines or flaws (eyes on Beatrix's head, and a gaping hole where eugene's heart should be) and they are facing away from each other. the lyrics "You've got a worried mind / I've got a worried heart" highlight these parts of each other, and division between the two is further symbolized by the differences in the ways they were shaded.

#cassettebeasts2002 "What happened to you?"

A greyscale picture of two people in front of a strange rock. It is a flat, upright rock like a gravestone but trapezoid shaped. It has three monstrous eyes and they are staring with concern at one of the people in front of it: the one kneeling on the ground. They have short hair, a floral shirt, and jeans. Their hands are on their knees and their head is hanging. A walking stick and a pointed wide-brimmed hat sit on the ground beside them.
Ophelia from the Cassette Beasts 2002 trailer stands besides them, one hand on their shoulder. She has dreadlocks, is wearing a long hooded coat, and pants.

it's kind of funny how things can just happen like this

The domino meme, where on the bottom right is the text "Merchant character from Dragon Quest 4 gets a spin-off title where he gets treasure from a dungeon to provide for his family", referencing the first ever Mystery Dungeon game, Torneko's Great Adventure. On the top left at the big domino is the text "People want to turn into Pokemon", referencing how the creation of the Mystery Dungeon series led to the creation of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and its plot involving the main character being a human transformed into a Pokemon, causing a lot of people to recognize their love for Pokemon transformation as well as other related aspects.
