Excited to share our paper, led by Naoki Okamoto in our group, just out in Nature! Neuroendocrine control of calcium mobilization in the fruit fly www.nature.com/articles/s41... We “re”-discovered the calcium storage site in “boneless” Drosophila and revealed how calcium mobilization is regulated.

We held the 2nd Fly Bayou Symposium in New Orleans last week—so great to reconnect in person and hear exciting research! What began in 2020 as a small local network has grown to 36 labs across 14 states. Grateful to see this community thrive and support each other! 🪰
