The only reason I bring any of this up is that I think that unlike many other LLM proofs we’ve been seeing and are likely to continue seeing, a specific example that probably separates P and NP seems very likely to be super interesting and informative, but then again who knows.

I’m not saying anything about how I think it will be solved (quite the opposite, I’m saying I don’t think it will be solved), just that the consensus is that P≠NP and that my prior is that if an LLM does find a solution it will come in the form of some kind of counter example.
