I started learning how to juggle three weeks ago. My current high-score is 68 catches on a 3-ball cascade. I started picking up how to juggle one-handed yesterday and I’ve made some progress on that too. New skill acquisition is fun!

Turns out you can just make stuff! Homemade airbrush cleaning solution. I had some glycerin on hand from making giant bubbles a couple weeks ago, I guess I need to just make sure I’ve got that in the kit going forward! #airbrush #artist

Really enjoying Alien: Earth! I like that there are subtle references to Alien 3 sprinkled in there, pretty cool for a Fury 161-enjoyer. I think Three was a fantastic bookend on the Ripley story. It's also well-represented by this image--

I animated a corgi happily bouncing along with Clip Studio Paint 3.0! Took some learning to figure out the particulars of how the Folders/Layers interact with the timeline, learned a bit about how Gradient Map coloring works. Nice time!

I have fond memories playing this when it was new at the Namco run arcade at Church Street Station in Florida, “Commander Ragtime’s Midway of Fun, Food, and Games”. Amazing place! They had all of the Capcom CPS-2 fighting games with huge projection screen monitors.

Also, an extremely good story about the dog that was on the cover of the Some Old Bullshit album. Our corgi has done this exact same thing.

“There'd always be some tasty leftovers in Yauch's fridge, and so sometimes after band practice in Adam's room, we'd sit around the dining-room table downstairs and eat. Samson the dog would be down there, below the table, waiting for fallen scraps and snacks. My main memory of Samson is the pizza incident. I wasn't there when it happened, but after Yauch told me the story, every time I saw that dog, I pictured it. And even now... I see random golden retrievers on the street and think of the Samson pizza incident. One night, when no one was looking, Samson stole a whole pizza off the table. Right out of the box. Adam and his parents chased the poor dog around the kitchen and dining-room area trying to get the pizza from him. But Samson was like, Fuck it. This shit is mine. He knew that if he stopped running or put the pizza down, it'd be over. So he just ran around dragging a whole pizza from his mouth, trying to eat it all as fast as he could while in motion. Now, in case you've forgotten ... dogs don't have hands. They're not like marathon runners who can get handed cups of water while they continue on their way. Dogs can't do that. Put yourself in poor Samson's place and imagine Adam Yauch and his mom and dad chasing you around the room trying to get an entire pizza out of your mouth while you're trying to eat it without using your hands. After a minute the pizza fell apart and landed on the floor, but Samson managed to hold on to one last slice.
He kept running while he chewed. Head up, nose held toward the sky, proud and ashamed, but determined. The visual: imagine how you'd look if you tried to chew water. Yauch said that in that moment Samson reverted back to a wolf.
He stopped running and dropped the slice of pizza on the floor. He stood hovering over it and let out a protective growl. The Yauch family backed off and let Samson get his slice.
I mean, c'mon... family is family, right?”
