we paid off our house (we're mid 60s) and my daughter also has a house (not normal for mid 40's) but we live in an area that isn't too expensive So glad I'm not renting, but I'm aging, and my house has a lot of stairs...

just planning to add suet to my feeder luckily no rats (except in granaries) nearby no squirrels either I live in a place that gets very cold and is very urban but i may have to get cameras to confirm as the nearest grain elevator is only 5 blocks away

I have some solar so I don't pay electricity in the summer, might be worth looking into I only have solar on my garage roof, and there is too much snow for winter solar

So I broke the dog's food bowl (ceramic) we have multiple replacement bowls It only broke into 3 pieces, so I set it aside to use in plant pots Hubby immediately assumed it was to be reassembled, so reassembled it is.

I woke up from a nap shouting that cats and baby chickens should not be raised at the same time despite having done so 20ish years ago, anyway the chicks survived and laid many eggs, the cats got neutered and I no longer live on an acreage hens do not stop laying for winter,many frozen eggs happened
