Excited to share the first version of BlockNote AI! Connect any model, customize prompts, and interact with AI just like you would with a human teammate. The user stays in control — accepting, rejecting, or refining suggestions. ⬇️ 1 min demo below ⬇️

After 4 years of work, I'm incredibly excited to introduce LiveStore, the next-gen data layer I'm building for Overtone. It's based on reactive SQLite and has a built-in sync engine. Give it a try - would love your feedback!

It should be easy to add Notion-like collaborative text editing. This is why we've just released first-party support for BlockNote, enabling: • Fully-hosted collaborative block-based editing • Real-time comments and notifications • Offline support, multiple editors, and more

The Netherlands' parliament on Tuesday approved a series of motions calling on the government to reduce dependence on U.S. software companies, including by creating a cloud services platform that is under Dutch control.

This is absurdly great, but I haven't read a single news article about it. A fully open source, offline-first alternative to Notion that's a collab between the French and German governments because they want to host docs securely and on their own terms. THIS is what Europe should be doing.

Excited to announce that I'm leaving Tiptap, I will be joining BlockNote at the beginning of the month. It's been less than a year, but I'm in a good place to take some risk and try starting up a company. Given that I'm leaving, I thought it'd fun to share the things I built while at Tiptap. So 🧵

Think gov tech is boring? Working on Open Source solutions for Digital Autonomy for your own country is pretty exciting 🙌 Back from Berlin where the CIOs of 🇫🇷 🇩🇪 🇳🇱 decided to keep working together on tech sovereignty through open source software. Exciting to be a small part of this with BlockNote!
