Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 21/09/2026This season Brentford - good point, and Palace , worst performance of the season but still unbeaten. We were also newly promoted last season and only played 6 lunchtime games last season and (3 D, 3L), 3 of which were away, and our away record was woeful last season. 010
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Yes and no, it's not a good stat. But 11 of those 19 came in our relegation season. If we look at the 6 from last year - Palace - Red Card that led to an apology (Gabi), Man Utd -Perri hauler, Sunderland away - hard to beat at SoL. Villa, Forest and Spurs when we couldn't beat an egg, Pre HT at City 130
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Wait... That isn't OK? ... Noted. Think Sally in HR is owed an apology 020
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Hot take: get Meslier back Rational mind: it's one game, get behind him and hope he gets betterer. Of the 6 (six) goals, he probably doesn't have much chance on 4 of them tbh. 111
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Ultimately a solid point, would have taken it at KO, especially at the Amex. Could have won it but also could have lost it. Subs didn't work today. But unbeaten after four games (incl. Cup). Three away games, two wins and a draw! 🤯💙💛🤍 #Lufc 090
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Really hope Diogo Leite is on a plane to TA for a medical as we speak. 110
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Talksport saying Folarin Balogun has pulled out of his move to Everton! 🫣 020
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Ohhh Josey, I misread that as Bahoya... Had a heart flutter 120
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026I assume that includes James stats in the Championship? If so, considering Bahoya's age and that he's played mainly in the Bundesliga, it's a good sign 130
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026I don't recognise this club... But I like the new look. 010
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Bookies making them 3-1 for relegation (compared to our 12-1) 100
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026We are obviously biased to pay most close attention to our own club but just looking at Palace and thinking they've had a stinking window and could be in bother? 230
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Reckon his wiki/transfermarkt/fotmob hits just went through the roof! Any Bundesliga watchers have thoughts? 110
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Oh absolutely - you could be right about clubs fudging the transition. Ultimately none of us know and I've said before I hate how football now requires an accountancy qualification to follow - ahhh the modern game. 020
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Yes in theory - but if the permanent move doesn't transpire we end up with a devalued assets. So in theory it COULD make sense but it's a gamble. Best outcome based on the imaginary scenario above is Fee-Book value /3 ((12-6)/3 - £2m+ a pa) worst case is loss of amortised remaining value -£3m 110
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026I believe so, yes. But a loan means you still have to amortise their remaining value but a permanent would factor remaining value immediately. So in your example if the player was signed for £15m on a 5 year deal and was sold after three - their remaining value of £6m would be deducted immediately 110

Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026bsky.app/profile/bere... Beren Cross saying it will become permanent if he makes a certain "achievable" number of appearances 210
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026There is with Largie - based on appearances by the sounds of things 110
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Hopefully but look at Harvey Elliot situation at Villa last season. Just takes a change in manager and Largie being cast aside and we lose out on longer term value. They are booked differently per se, just that cause it's only a 1 year deal it can only be booked for in that single year 110
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026I mainly agree and hence why I say I've avoided the outrage. Just found it a bit odd that Burnley were willing for it to be permanent yesterday and now it's somehow a loan? Makes me wonder what the thinking is ! Obvs I don't know the details and it could be shrewd accounting but still confusing 100
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026I am hoping the same. We have to trust the club to know what they are doing (which is understandable if you've followed the club for any length of time) 110
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026E.g. cost us £10m on four year deal. Amortised as £2.5/ year Let's say his salary is fully covered at £1m a year (guessing) and we got a £1.5m loan fee - we would break even and free up head room. £2.5m book value -£1m wages -£1.5m loan fee These numbers are made up just FYI 030
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Yes . We still have to book whatever amortized value remains for the year but we can cancel some or all of that out with loan fee & wages. So short term could make sense, but you have wonder how many translate to permanent and whether that short term income is worth it? 220
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026I've avoided the outrage over Leeds Loans policy, but really starting to wonder how we can be this bad at achieving permanent moves? How can it go from permanent yesterday to loan today!? Really hope I'm missing something about this (e.g. higher fee all in if perm is triggered) but seriously! 540
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026I hear that, unfortunately I can see Hwang warming the bench all season and getting 300mins total. In which case keep Gnonto 110
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Rather keep Gnonto than Hwang though! If that's the option 230
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 01/09/2026But what about Ryan Kent! The time has finally come! 040
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Wonder if the club has considered Raphaël Guerreiro. Would sure be a good find as LB, LWB and Left wing cover? A free agent and older so maybe happy with a role like that? To be clear, I'm not ITK or even seen this linked anywhere. Just looking at free agent options 120
Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Start of last season we would have lost that 3-0. Farke has had a lot of criticism for not being flexible and leaving subs too late. But he showed he has also developed and grown today! 140
Reposted by Yeboah-ed itRich Holmes @richholm.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Not displeased by this afternoon. The positives outweigh the first 45. Would have been a loss last year. As much as I hate to say, it shows that they are a couple of years ahead of #lufc. The ground lost over 2 years down is brutal. Our potential is greater though, IF we keep up the evolution. 4362

Yeboah-ed it @yeboahedit.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Really hope it's only a minor injury for Rodon. His recovery speed is so important for us. Brentford have been the much better team but have to wonder if the sub caused a bit of disorganisation at the back? Incredible finish but marking was poor. Wilson on at HT please 060
