Unorganized and pretty rough sketch page drawn in blue ballpoint pen of mostly Mario characters. A Blitty, default male Mii, Broggy, Starlow, Kirby, a bad drawing of Fawful, and some other unfinished doodles are all here. This was drawn without any references, which is why it looks sort of whack.

Drawing explaining some of the backstory of Stella and Umbra's home planets. Stella's face is drawn beside a copper-coloured wavy-lined planet surrounded by a sparkly, dark-red cloud that envelopes it. She is looking sadly at the planet. Umbra's face is drawn beside a kind of teal-coloured planet. The planet's surface is almost entirely water, but small grey continents are spread across it. Shards of a moon are drawn orbiting it. Umbra is looking a bit angrily at the planet. Some text explains "Stella comes from a dry desert world that has so much dust around it that it's always dark, and the people never get to see the stars.", and "Umbra is from a watery planet whose moon, the source of her magic and wellbeing, was destroyed long ago." Below, the planet Earth is drawn, larger than the two other planets, with arrows pointing from Stella and Umbra to Earth. Below the planet, Stella and Umbra are drawn again, this time with Mochii in between the two. They all look very happy. Text below them states "Now they live happily on Earth!"

I'm thinking of doing more of these little story explanation drawings about my characters. I don't think the story is that interesting right now, but I think it'll improve as time goes on, and eventually once it's more polished, and my art skills have improved enough, maybe I'll make a webcomic or something. Either way, I hope you have found value from this tiny bit of story information. Thank you for reading!!

Today was the 30th anniversary of Nintendo 64 in North America. It's a super special day for me, because the I'm a huge fan of the N64. I wanted to make a drawing for this day, but I didn't get around to it. Ah well. Change the System!!

Mii's new 3D model is done! The armature is the same between the two models, so I can still use the old poses on the new one. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

I'm working on a revised version of the Mii 3D model. I think it's mostly an improvement. Hopefully I'll be able to use the rig from the original model (pictured right). I promise I'll do some drawing soon! >_< I have some new characters I want to sketch. #b3d #blender

Screenshot of the computer program Blender, showing two versions of a 3D model of Mii, an original character of mine. The two models are T-Posing side by side, but the one on the left is closer to the camera. They are both untextured, being coloured a simple grey with no features that are drawn in texture, like the face. The model on the left is the new model that I am currently working on. It has more polygons and thus looks noticeably smoother. The topology has also been improved, specifically in the hat, the hair, and the nose too, I guess. The legs have also been improved in general, but it's hard to see in the picture. I have yet to do the texture work for this model, but I plan to actually attempt some real texturing this time, and also include normal maps.

I thought the Mii renders would be better and easier to read if it had a backdrop, so I made this! #blender #b3d #nintendo

August 17th is Umbra's birthday, so I did this little doodle to celebrate, I guess. Happy birthday, Umbra!! #oc #art #drawing

Simple, lineart-only drawing of Stella, Umbra, and Mochii (pictured from left to right; all OCs of mine), celebrating Umbra's birthday. The characters each have their lines drawn in a single colour representing them: dark red for Stella, dark blue/purple for Umbra, and dark green for Mochii. Umbra sits at a table in the middle of the picture looking down at a cake baked for her, while her friends stand behind her on either side. The table has a present on the left, an envelope on the right, and the round cake (baked by Mochii), sitting with a lit single candle on it in front of Umbra. Mochii is cheering with her eyes closed, and Stella looks happily at Umbra. Umbra looks uncomfortable, because she's not sure what to say. She is definitely very thankful that her friends prepared this for her, so she has some sparkles in her eyes and is blushing, but she's never done this sort of birthday tradition before (she originally lived on another planet before coming to Earth), so she doesn't know what the person being celebrated is supposed to say or do. Stella doesn't usually do this thing either, so she's not trying to say or do anything much, in case it's the wrong thing to do. Above the three characters are the words "Happy Birthday, UMBRA!!" The last word is stylized in all caps for no reason.

About the Halo: Campaign Evolved ring drama (that I've somehow missed?!), the sense of scale is definitely lost, not only with the huge decorations on the ring, but also with the camera FoV. In the second screenshot, the camera is accurately zoomed in, providing a sense of scale the ring has.

More vertical four-panel comic, drawn digitally, as usual. The comic features Mii, my online persona.

Panel 1: Over-the-shoulder shot of Mii as she encounters two thugs/gangsters in a dark location, presumably an alleyway or something similar. The first one, an older man who is balding, holds a baseball bat with a smug grin. Beside him, a younger gangser is wearing a navy-blue hoodie and is frowning. He says, "So, any last words?" Mii looks paralyzed with fear, and is anxiously sweating. Her speech bubble only contains "..."

Panel 2: The view turns to face Mii. This smaller panel is drawn in a different style than the rest of the comic. The lineart is scratchy, and the drawing is only white with black lines and halftones for shading. Mii looks super serious and cool. The panel is very over the top and edgy in a kind of silly way. She looks straight forward with a resigned expression and says "Yeah." in a spiky speech bubble.

Panel 3: The view zooms in closer to the gangsters. As Mii, out of the frame, says "Pon Pon Pata Pon.", the older one looks confused and scratches his head, saying "..." The younger one looks disturbed or angry, and draws a small knife from his pocket. Rumbles are ominously heard in the background.

Panel 4: Suddenly, out of nowhere, an army of Patapons appears and attacks the gangsters as they hide behind a dumpster. From left to right, a Yumipon aims its bow, Hatapon charges forward, carrying the banner and yelling "ATTAAAAACK!!!", a Kibapon rides its horse towards the gangsters, and a Tatepon stands ready to fight. Although Mii is nowhere to be seen, I imagine she's off to the side, giggling mischievously while holding her PSP.

I really prefer the Japanese/EU SNES/SFC design. It looked like a futuristic computer. Not sure why they redesigned it to be all chunky and boxy and purple. It's alright, but when I learned that the Super Famicom had a different design, I was so envious of what they got!! #nintendo
