"We're not a democracy we're a republic" is such a stupid take. The U.S. has elements of both. This is middle school social studies stuff. The modern country that first comes to my mind as being a republic without any democracy is the U.S.S.R., and I'm pretty sure this crowd weren't fans of them.

🧵 I live in Los Angeles. We have not had to evacuate and are safe, but like many people here, I have friends who have lost everything. I realize I can't combat the firehose (see what I did there?) of bullshit spewing about this disaster from internet and media sources, but I'll say this:

I know, the staging is a little silly, but I am just beside myself with excitement getting ready to play in this supplement. (The game is The One Ring by Free League Publishing, if you want to know)
