Screenshot of a notoriously bad tweet from Young Conservatives edited to read, "I can't be the only one who thinks if the [NFL] wanted to they could put together a [military] and dominate the [troops]."

Personal favorite of mine:
Tweet from Alan Ferrier:

"Who would have believed that the perfect Wikipedia photo caption could have been improved upon?"
(two screenshots of a photo on Wikipedia showing its caption pre- and post-edit. The photo depicts a man dressed in full Scottish bagpiper regalia playing the bagpipes next to a penguin in a barren Antarctic snowscape. The "pre" version reads:

"Piper Kerr, a member of the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition, plays the bagpipes for an indifferent penguin, March 1904."

The edited version reads:

"Piper Kerr (right), a member of the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition, plays the bagpipes for an indifferent penguin, March 1904.")

Oh god yes
Screengrab of a beautiful, messy Geocities website. It's full of skeletons and guitars. The welcome page reads, "Dear Internet Person,
please enjoy at your own risk . . . I call myself the Black Widow simply because
I hope to lure you deeply into my web site and capture you with my bytes!" There's a gif of a skeleton doing toe touches. There's a link to "download my personal files" that leads to a page that just says "...NOT!" and then chastises you for trying to download personal files. The page is, in its own words, "best viewed at 800x600 pixels. With the 'times new roman' font" and "dedicated to Spock 2230-2015"

Screenshot of a classic tweet from Thomas Violence (@thomas_violence):

"The year is 3403 AD, crime is legal and cop's are illegal, only one man is willing to break the law to make the law legal again: Crimecop"

"1979" has been half-assedly pasted on top of "3403"

A promotional still for the Netflix rom-com series "Nobody Wants This." The photo has been heavily cropped and zoomed so it is just the title of the show in stylish white lettering over a background that has been rendered indistinct by the aforementioned crop/zoom. Because this podcast is bad and nobody seems to want it. Honestly it's a C+ joke at best; I just wanted to be a part of the ratio.

I don't think this one gets as much recognition as it deserves

A particularly egregious example of the "Yes, I will perform the promoted behavior" / "No, I am an absolute rube, my pathetic life is just one unforced error after another, I cannot be trusted around microwaves"-style popup from Groupme.
A popup from the Groupme app trying to get me to opt-in to use some dipshit AI summary "feature." There's a fake screenshot of a summary of a chat, which I am not going to transcribe because it's not worth anyone's time. Below that is the ad copy:

"Less scrolling. More signal. Recap finds what matters. Recap helps you stay in the loop without reading everything."

"More signal" go fuck yourself. "It's sooooo hard to read eight whole text messages" go fuck yourself again. And then the options to tap through this popup are "Learn more" (in a large, inviting blue bubble) and below, in a small, shameful lowercase, "i like reading hundreds of messages"

You know what? I DO like reading hundreds of messages. It's called "communicating" and it's one of the great beauties of the human experience that the tech industry is trying to take away from you.

I feel you; my team this year has a higher body count than most slasher movies. (NOT PICTURED: Cam Skattebo, Darren Waller, multiple kickers somehow...)

Went to this with some friends in high school expecting to hate-watch it and we were caught completely off-guard. Had us in stitches, quoted it for weeks after.

Oh good, my FOX favorites are all in one place
Screenshot of an ad on the welcome page of the Google play store reading "Your FOX favorites All in one place." The "favorites" in question are Tom Brady, Greg Gutfeld (Gutfield? Not gonna look it up), and some cartoon guy, but not like one of the immediately recognizable cartoon guys like Stewie Griffin or one of the Simpsons. It's just some old-looking cartoon guy with an ascot. He's tenting his fingers in a way that suggests he isn't a great person. In the interest of fairness and transparency I will admit that Erin Andrews was also in this ad graphic but I cropped her out because there's not really anything objectionable about her as far as I know so the joke works better without her.

"Bongo's Dream House" from the Life in Hell comic by Matt Groening. It is a child's elaborate and deeply impractical idea of a dream home, with fixtures like a robot chef, a moat full of sharks, and a firehouse pole that extends from the rooftop helipad all the way to the ground floor, four stories below.

Long crouton
A bad cell phone picture of a small plate of food from an airport lounge buffet. In the foreground is a crouton that is about 5-6 times as long as a typical crouton.

My face when my RB scores a 24-yard touchdown
Screenshot of a post from the Seattle Seahawks on X that reads "Charbonnet for 6. #probowlvote + Zach Charbonnet" with an embedded video of Charbonnet's 24-yard TD run from last night's game. The video is paused on Seattle coach Mike Macdonald - who, in my opinion, should be pleased by this development - looking confused and perhaps a little bit tired.

Something very strange is happening in Norman, OK
Screenshot of the Oklahoma Sooners 2023 football team's roster page for backup QB General Booty. That's his name. General Booty. I swear to God I'm not fucking with you.

It's intensifying!
The same dumb chart from the OP, but the tally has skyrocketed all the way up to SEVEN Representatives, zero Senators, and zero Governors.

Remember when you guys were a real newspaper
A headline dated July 3 of this year reading "President Biden Signs Parkinson's Bill into Law," which seems like useful information to include in the headline or sub-header of a story about a president having several meetings with an expert on Parkinson's disease at a time when his health & fitness are currently the subject of suspiciously lopsided media scrutiny.

America: Doing Fine!
A handmade sign (black sharpie on white poster board) stapled to a telephone pole in uptown New Orleans that says "MY DAD NEEDS A KIDNEY" with a phone number which has been partially obscured for "don't post random phone numbers on the internet" reasons. For fun bonus dystopia, the kidney sign is directly above a permanent metal sign alerting folks that they're in the Touro Bouligny Security District, which means this area is patrolled 24/7 by retired and off-duty cops who get paid through our tax dollars. There's a phone number you can call "to Report Activity." Not even "suspicious activity." Just "activity."
