"This graph clearly indicates that software is cheaper to make, Jason" It indicates that software nobody wants is cheaper to make. Yet again, we forget there's a speed limit on the feedback loop that really matters.

New client has engaged me to look for a senior software engineer. London-based, hybrid: 2 days a week on-site. They make super-useful tools for software developers. XP *essential*. Kotlin ideal, but JVM experience needed. Will consider less experience for exceptional folks. £90K-£120K

We see that AI tools amplify good engineering cultures, and bad. So it is rational to better the engineering culture at any and all organizations. Good (engineering) middle management is pretty good at doing this. So why are so many companies gutting middle management, and now?

Take-aways: - Positions of power require more care with the humor we practice, though respect should always come first. - Humor tends to be more prevalent in the ages when we take life less seriously. - Message sign-offs have great potential 😈
