For me there's a line between a business that overtly tells us "Trans people are bad" or "We support MAGA/MAHA" vs something like Target where people went crazy because they just didn't order their employees to put their own safety/lives on the line if ICE showed up... I'll still shop there for now

Totally agree. It was nice that they gave him a nod on an episode of Voyager after Star Trek 6 but that could have been the perfect in-between series after the TOS movies in the timeline.

My favorite is still the Excelsior class even if it was never a "featured" ship other then a few short moments in the ST movies. It makes a lot of cameos though.

Probably a Black Bear (no not THAT kind of Bear) they're more common where I'm living currently then where I grew up. Mostly because my Sona is based a lot on my RL proportions and well... there's not a lot of other wild animals with my "shape" outside of Bears in the Midwest.

I've been to both coasts atleast and Hawaii is the only time I've been off the mainland. I still have yet to get a passport and leave the country; maybe someday when the cult leaves power and Americans aren't idiots to the rest of the world.

I've learned to just shrug it off but I also have the advantage of being 6' 5". So most people don't press their luck if I even look slightly irritated. That said I don't like confrontation either...

Yeah, being in a group when doing street photography especially in an area you are not familiar with is a huge benefit. These one off paranoid people will not be bold enough to approach groups, they prey on 1 on 1 interactions where they can feel they have the edge on you.

I had a lady (very much a Karen) threaten to call the cops on me because she was somehow convinced I was taking photos of her when I was taking photos of an abandoned fishing rod 50 feet away with my back turned away from her in a Public Park. Some people are just insanely paranoid about everything

It can (and has) happened to me in Downtown areas but its far far less likely. You're more likely to get harassed with beggers and drunks however which is also a problem. The safest areas to do Street photography generally are "Tourist traps" IE towns that have signs outside to take a selfie etc

1 on 1 meeting went really well, she was back on her good side. Disposing of a large house spider that was in the meeting room by getting it in a cup and flicking it outside likely contributed to this result atleast a little bit.

The Silver lining and the primary reason I haven't started job hunting (yet) is I was told they do have a position posted for a replacement for my current Boss. Hopefully I'll get an improvement... I guess we will just have to wait and see

A boss that is constantly Negative is a pain but atleast its a known variable you can somewhat just shake your head and walk away at the end of the day. A positive coaching Boss is El Primo of course but they're obviously not super common. Two faced bosses are probably the worst of the 3 types

The worst part of the Job/Manager drama is the Two Face nature of it. I should just refer to my boss as Harvey Dent at this point... One moment she's giving me praise on how well I'm doing the next minute she's beating me down. I expect the 1 on 1 to be like this.

I'm feeling less then motivated then I was to be excited for that game after the calls and comments from my boss on me "nodding off during call" because I closed my eyes for a second two times during a part of the meeting that had Zero relation to my Job. And I expect to be reamed more at the 1 on 1

But its still stressful and I'm not used to all these check-up and therapy sessions eating into my already limited schedule. In summer I can do them on Friday on my half day at work but that's only viable for the next 4-5 weeks.

The medical stuff admittedly could be a LOT worse. They're typical issues with someone getting old who's my size. High blood pressure and hypertension mostly. I get to start taking my first cocktail of meds to start managing that. They could have found something like the Big C or an actual blockage
