Gooey's body is unstable due to him being a Dark Matter, the kid is sorta a shapeshifter. So solidity heavily depends on his mental state - any extreme (mostly negative) emotion makes him loos a grip on the body Case and point: something bad happening to his sibling and Gooey "melts over" #Kirby
