A story in 4 pictures. The first scene of Kirby Guardian episode 18 has been sketched. I'll start animating a bit tonight. Each of the 3 scenes are about 8 camera shots long. It'll also be a laid-back, relaxed episode. So, I'm aiming for scene 1 to be fully animated but the end of the month.

I'll see which leaf style will fit better for the tech demo's trees (First Picture), since I'd still want it to fit my general aesthetic. Watch as just making them desaturated will do the trick. That being said, I think I'm getting better at making trees.

I modelled the setting for Kirby Guardian episode 18. I'll set up cameras and Grease Pencil objects later tonight.

Also, the target system was finalized last week. Now, Faximili automatically turns towards the target while attacking. It should lasers and beams even easier to aim. (It also works for her other forms, as seen in this video.)

I did a TON of work for the tech demo, over the last 2 weeks. Today, I modelled those UI elements but I'm over the whole thing for now. So, I'll start setting up Kirby Guardian Episode 18, tomorrow. I wanna model some land. I was hoping I would for the tech demo, but the rewrite too extra time.

The alternate ending, where Ribbon just gets fucking activated. Fairies aside, the animation process for episode 17 should only take about 2 days until it's finished. After that; the usual. Sound effects, the thumbnail and it'll be ready to go on Patreon first. No release dates, you know the drill!

I just noticed that the colour correction I added makes her look a lot like her mother here, but I want it to be known that this was not how I decided on Bow's colours in episode 13.

"Cool Mom" While The Company are having fun in the tall grass, their guardian relaxes while keeping an eye on them, to make sure they don't get lost. She can see everything from here and walks up to them when they're done adventuring! An hour of walking for them is about five steps for Adeleine.

"Mother's Rings" and "High-Wind Guardian"

Adeleine and The Company are spending some time outside. For the Company, it's a new adventure starting, with their mother as the main attraction! Flying around, climbing and trying to follow in her footsteps, the pink soldiers always feel safe and invincible when Mama is around!

For Adeleine, it's a relaxing and slow walk on Green Grounds with her ten overjoyed babies. Their bond is so strong, these days, that even an absent-minded Adeleine wouldn't hurt her youngs by accident. It's second nature to her and she didn't even realize it!

The poster in Ribbon's garage features Toppy. A famous singer from Ripple Star, back when Ribbon was very young and two-winged. Ribbon keeps it intact as not only does it provide emotional support from another fairy with the words "Shine on, Ribbon", Toppy was also her one and only childhood crush.

A Toppy poster on the wall. It helps Ribbon not losing her way. At least, it used to. Not only has Toppy retired years ago, she probably wouldn't even consider Ribbon as one of her own kind, today.

Ribbon forces herself not to think about it to hard and to rather focus on the joy it was meeting her idol in person, back then.

Ribbon was starstruck meeting this older hat wearing, green-clad, short and dark-haired, purple-eyed, piercing-bearing artist with a cold demeanour but a heart of gold.
