I might get lambasted for saying it, but leaving Twitter actually really fucked up my income, so I'm gonna crosspost my adopts n stuff there again. To maintain my livelihood, I don't have a choice. Moving here did expand my reach a bit, but it plateaued very quickly.

I don't really care what people think of me too much, but it does sting at times. I'm doing my best, I'm being nice, I'm trying to work hard. I would like to think I'm a good person. My money problems aren't all I am. I hate that it's most of what people have seen from me for the past year though.

I think a big reason it's so hard for me to connect with people as a furry artist is bc of social climbers... It made me start being wary by default. :/ Or folks who make befriending me a "goal," instead of letting it happen naturally. That and folks who only wanna be friends w/ an artist.

Choosing myself and walking away from all the bad influences and drama-mongers is something I'll never, ever regret. I used to be surrounded by SO MANY bad people (partially my fault for being a doormat) and I just let things happen because I was afraid of conflict.

This is random but I repeatedly gained & lost a lot of weight over the past few years due to stress and health problems and it's been a huge hit to my self-esteem. BUT!!! I've been exercising and dieting and I've successfully lost enough weight to fit into my previous size jeans!! HOORAY

I completely do not subscribe to the "fall in love, get married, have kids, dedicate your whole life to raising children, die" life path. That shit ain't for me. Love and sharing my life with my partner(s) is as far as it goes for me. But I am not interested in marriage or having kids. Just. No.

I cut my own hair for the first time and it came out decent 👍 I wasn't expecting perfect but it's better than I thought I'd do. No super obvious mistakes. I'm doing more layering and blending on the top tomorrow. Good learning experience. :3

Some folks try to hide their horrendous and harmful behavior behind buzzwords and phrases that SOUND good-willed and innocent at face value, but in reality they have an insufferable, vengeful, and uncompromising personality.
