Thank you ❤️ unfortunately not a lot of quiet time if I don't actively cut it out, but a lot has been happening and I feel things are actually moving for the first time in a long time. Which is exhausting and challenging, but also good, in a way. I think of you often and I hope thing have been good ❤️

aaahhh you are too kind to me, rabbit ❤️!!! they are truly just some silly sketches, but they are very fun to draw and honestly, the infinite amount of photos of them doing extremely random things make for an excellent resource of study materials! plus, I might be a little bit in love with them ahah

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 03/11/2025

can't forget my favourite random Paul photo

some stupid and wonky The Beatles photos studies I did during these past couple of days in the midst of my reborn obsession with them

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 03/11/2025

I'll post a few in a new post. They are not good, but I still like them.

000

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 03/11/2025

of course I couldn't just listen to them, so whenever I am taking a break from work, I've been obsessively sketching some random archive photos of them with a pen and it's been v fun and cathartic at the same time. the frustration of dealing w errors you can't always erase cancels out the irl pain.

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 03/11/2025

thank you so much, lynn, you're always the sweetest ❤️ i really hope everything has been going well for you too ❤️ and you're right! I just sometimes forget I exist in these spaces and don't want to worry anyone.

In other very stupid news, I have dropped SPN in the middle of season 7 bc I don't have the patience for the stupid leviathans plot line, BUT I've been watching a lot of movies and listening to a lot of music, mainly The Beatles bc old obsessions never truly leave you (and bc they're just that good)

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 03/11/2025

hey just wanted to pop in to say that I'm sorry I've been quiet and away from everything. Things have just been very busy between work & uni & life and while most of it has been good, it's also very draining. it's also giving me lots to process and think about, which I feel I do better in silence.

also happy 20th anniversary to the series that made me have the most conflicting feelings about itself... last night I dreamt I was together with misha collins for some reason and I think it was his ghost visiting me as a thank you...

started S6 of supernatural today and, not to be that bitch, but I am already dearly missing the color grading of the early seasons... ANYWAY I had forgotten how emotionally invested in dean I get when I watch this damn show, he's just like me (tho I WISH I had the same looks and rizz he possesses)

I'm really obsessed with dead leaves and tiny spindly fungi at the moment #art

a page of many small drawings of fungi on dead leaves and twigs. they are all very tall and skinny with small caps, mostly white or light brown (with a couple red), and in groups. the background is tan with a white mycelium pattern. signed layaroseart.com

HONESTLY SAME... I should be partial to sam as I even share the birthday with the guy, but GOD, dean is just such a beautifully written character, I adore every single thing about him...

010

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 07/09/2025

omg I had forgotten about the scene where dean compares the angels to "shady politicians from the planet vulcan" hdhskjs which, tbh, is an INCREDIBLE and apt observation... dean, you are ALWAYS going to be my favourite...

yes, give me castiel being increasingly perturbed by the idea of free will and considering rebelling for the first time, give me dean's intensifying self-loathing as he is forced to face and do what he is ashamed of the most, just to discover that it is that same thing that condemned them all

000

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 06/09/2025

need to tattoo the whole script for on the head of a pin on my inner eyelids so that I can obsessively read it AUGH "I guess I'm not the man either of our dads wanted me to be" KILL ME RIGHT NOW

I'm so sorry for your loss, Júlia... Maurício was lucky to be surrounded by so much love until the very end, just as you were lucky to have him. I'm sending you all my love, I will be keeping him in my thoughts.

010

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 05/09/2025

I MEAN THE WHOLE THING ABOUT THIS EPISODE IS HAVING you think that the actual siren was the girl that sam was having a fling with WHILE INSTEAD IT WAS THE GUY DEAN WAS GETTING VERY MUCH ALONG WITH.... it doesn't get more explicit than this as far as subtext goes....

010

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 05/09/2025

BUT YES, besides wincest, i really can't understand how people are still so stubborn about dean being straight as the writers CLEARLY and OFTEN give him storylines where he shares liaisons and deep bonds with men that directly parallel sam's love stories/relationships with women

110

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 05/09/2025

mind you, they had the siren be a stripper and charm with sex the three victims before those two came in swinging..... i mean.... i see what the wincest people were seeing.... i don't really care for it, but i see it....

120

yamcat @yamcatt.bsky.social · 05/09/2025

supernatural having an episode with a siren that can take the shape of the victim's ideal person to lure them in and have them kill people and they decide to make them a man for dean and have them say that they knew they'd get through him if they'd assume the role of the perfect little brother......
