And the music didn't start until 10+ minutes past. Concerts always start 5 minutes late, then the new CEO came on stage and spoke for 5 minutes. Then tuning. I'm okay with ppl being seated during. But once the music starts, that's when it becomes disruptive. Our floorboard squeaks with every step.

This was unique to H+H as this doesn't happen to other ensembles which put a hard stop to latecomers after the music starts. It's a choice the mgt made and I emailed them. They could have taken a short pause after the overture for latecomer seating but they didn't.

I was appalled by H+H's practice of allowing latecomers to be seated continuously throughout the first half. Dozens and dozens of people were late & they were led to their seats while the music was ongoing. It was extremely disruptive. I'm talking about 25+ mins of ppl walking in front of us.

Oh yes! When the commuter rail approaches North Station in Boston, the speed is 3mph!!!!!!! Weekday peak hours the schedule is once an hour, and on weekends our line runs once every 2 hours. I mean, who do they think they are serving???

Every time we come home from a trip abroad, we are like, "why can't we have nice things?" Here in Boston, our commuter rail system is worse than third world countries (infrequent schedules, slow speed, constant delays, diesel polluting engines, train cars that are 30 years old .........) 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
