XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Sorry for my lack of posting lately. The manga has been sent off to the print shop now so I will likely be able to poat regular art again soon. 010
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I haven't been posting lately because I am focusing all my energy on finishing my manga for Nikuketto. I have four pages left to ink before I can start adding tones/text. In the mean time here is a character I made for volume 2... assuming volume 1 succeeds enough for me to continue. 000
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Is it just me, or is every new version of the internet past 1.0 turned out to have actually been a bad idea? 111
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Was having a headache, needed a break from my manga and so I drew this. Hope someone finds the idea amusing... at least the idea of Millim getting stuck in a jar of honey amused me a bit. I didn't finish the colors because I had a bit of a headache, but I think you can get the idea at least... 011
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 11/09/2026These are just thumbnail sketches, so don't expect much quality... 001
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I pretty much need to finish principle sketches for my manga this weekend... I am just over half way and I am already redrawing pages..... lol Here are some thumbnals from two pages I just cut. 100

XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 04/09/2026When I am in the midst of a comeback I am always a bit divided between redrawing old stuff or making new things. I want to make new things, but I see old stuff on my DA page and I want to replace it with something better... 000

XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Tomoe will return (She barely got a spotlight to begin with, so its only fair) 010
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Thanks. Doing OK at least. I might post some new OC stuffs soon 110

XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 20/08/2026Its funny how all us 80s and 90s kids grew up thinking we'd see warp drives and life on other planets, but the scifi future we got instead was Robocop without detective Murphy. 000
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 19/08/2026I do need constructive critique, but when the comments boil down to "its all terrible, start over" I lose motivation. lol 100
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Every time I think I am getting slightly better at art again, someone I respect appears to tell me everything I have done is garbage. lol 100
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 16/08/2026I wasn't able to complete a new piece this weekend but I have multiple things in progress that some will reach competition soon. Here are a few samples clipped from a new Shaula thing I was working on (some bits removed to be a surprise in the full piece) 092
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 14/08/2026I waited months to restart my DA page because I wanted to fimish the abandoned comic before I showed my face again... but its funny that even after all these years of being abandoned still way more people see my art on DA than any other platform. Its not even a fair comparison. 000
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 08/08/2026I wasn't really expecting comments right away, but the first comment being a phishing scam is kinda hilarious 010
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 08/08/2026For the first time in an age I posted something to DA... my long unfinished comic thingy. XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 05/08/2026I need to post something... but the big project consumes all... 010
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Mish was probably the last of these I did a full sequence for. It was also a remaster because the first one was in the truly ancient Yahoo group days 010
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 31/07/2026I.went ahead and drew a ref sheet of some of my old OCs. Some of these are pretty obscure tho... and I think I got the name of the bunny one wrong. 152
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 30/07/2026maybe I should polish up a throw away and post it anyway 110

XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 29/07/2026When you stop drawing for nearly 2 decades... no one recalls your OCs. Sometimes you just need to make new ones. 220
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 26/07/2026Rewatching a 20 year old anime for a project I am working on... and I just cannot remember why I used to like this... its mostly incredibly boring. 010
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 21/07/2026I think you're amazing, if that matters. Imposter syndrome happens to everyone. Especially when you are in the same place too long and feel no passion for the content you make (reguardless of the skill you put into it) 030
XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 09/07/2026Its funny that I started this account in Japanese but it quickly turned English only while my old twitter account started in English and went Japanese only. Doesn't help that not a single Japanese friend I have uses Bluesky. 000

XYXTLIN @xyxtlin.bsky.social · 08/07/2026It never ceases to amaze me how misaligned amount of effort I put into a thing and how well that thing are recived are. That won't stop me from drawing things no one else cares about tho, because I still have to draw what I want to draw (or I'll leave it unfinished for 17 years again) 100
