I haven't been posting lately because I am focusing all my energy on finishing my manga for Nikuketto. I have four pages left to ink before I can start adding tones/text. In the mean time here is a character I made for volume 2... assuming volume 1 succeeds enough for me to continue.

Was having a headache, needed a break from my manga and so I drew this. Hope someone finds the idea amusing... at least the idea of Millim getting stuck in a jar of honey amused me a bit. I didn't finish the colors because I had a bit of a headache, but I think you can get the idea at least...

Its funny that I started this account in Japanese but it quickly turned English only while my old twitter account started in English and went Japanese only. Doesn't help that not a single Japanese friend I have uses Bluesky.

It never ceases to amaze me how misaligned amount of effort I put into a thing and how well that thing are recived are. That won't stop me from drawing things no one else cares about tho, because I still have to draw what I want to draw (or I'll leave it unfinished for 17 years again)

Still retraining. Shaula's design (especially the eyes) bug me so she makes a good practice subject for now. Still struggling with anatomy but it doesn't stop me from wanting to try more dynamic poses. Please bare with me as I work out my issues while trying to relearn drawing.

I wasn't really a fan of how the sequence turned out so I gave Shaula another crack with a different pose. I like the pose better but it still feels off. Clearly I am lacking in some fundamentals so I am going to do some more practice sketching for a while...
