Obsidian is very customizable. Either way, once you are on Markdown files with Joplin it is easier to move between things.

I think one thing that was missed is that in his estimation that his app is the only one using these APIs. In effect, he vendored in those APIs. This puts him on a pathway to remove all of the Windows specific APIs overall and get on a path to a native build.

Many of the anti-AI arguments and even suggested "solutions" are inherently reactionary. If you want to be a better critic of it, don't fall into traps like advocating for increase property rights or easily shifted ecological arguments. Focus on the actual material relations of power.

My primary ideas around this are focused on Srsly Wrong's idea of Library Socialism in that things are just available to people for what they want to do. In order to get this though, you must contribute to society in various ways which might be unfamiliar but lead to better results.
