Killing someone that's enjoying their life is arguably much worse than killing someone who is suffering.

There's no such thing as a meat eating environmentalist.

Sadly that’s all too often the solution to which humans resort. Encroach on wildlife habitat and if they get in the way, kill them. Thankfully some places install wildlife overpasses/underpasses with great success. Not a workable solution everywhere, but all other options should be leveraged.
