The story follows Odysseus, the king of Ithaca, as he faces a ten-year journey to return home after the Trojan War. I read this probably 7-ish years ago. It’s just fascinating to read something written more than 2500 years ago.

I donated this book to the church library today. I enjoyed it because of the intellectual depth of the Author. Side note: He and few other guys have a great podcast where they evaluate and discuss modern issues and Christian perspectives called Mere Orthodoxy. #skybooks 💙📚

Pastor McGill recommended this book to me many years ago. I finally read it this year. C.S. Lewis’ ‘Screwtape Letters’ are written from the perspective of a demon plotting humanity’s downfall. While I appreciated the book, I felt tired from nearly constant dark and unsettling tone. #skybooks

I read this book in 2021. While Dr. Moore had different religious experiences than me, his personal stories still resonated, along with his ability to connect and root them in biblical truths. This book is a great introduction to his thoughtful approach to faith and culture. #blueskybooks
