There's stuff in the season 3 premiere of Ranma 1/2 that wasn't in the manga that I didn't even realize was anime original at first because it just felt so in tune with who the characters are

Framing Akane's deadly terrible cooking as a showcase of her unrealized affection for Ranma, and Ranma trying to tolerate it and eat it anyway because of his unrealized affection for Akane is so cute and so clearly there in the manga that it feels right to expand that more in the anime.

Put on some Simpsons to cheer myself up and gosh Lisa’s first words being Bart and the set up of all the babies calling him Homer and Maggie’s first words being “Daddy” made me tear up. The Simpsons really had so much love in it during its peak
