The new business manager visa changes significantly raised the requirements to sustain the visa, which hugely impactful. It requires some planning and a leap of faith, it’s certainly not for everyone. “がんばります!”

After finding out about the Japanese Startup Visa through @LeWagonTokyo , she reached out to Shibuya Startup Support who helped her set her foundation. The help on these first steps were valuable but she still had many challenges to face head on herself.

Our final speaker of the night, Jess Yu founded her game development studio here in Tokyo with her first game Usagi Shima. She’s sharing her journey, with ups and downs and how she made it all happen

She has some great insights from her work, including from on the Attack on Titan VR experience. There are so many nuances that are usually missed that are so important to the people they represent. They shouldn’t just be on the “nice to have” list of features.

Demoing this Friday (10/24) at our Community Link Up: VR Ring Fit Shooting, a VR shooting game that uses the Ring-Con controller from Nintendo’s Ring Fit Adventure. You can shoot balls by pushing the ring and reload by doing squats. Clear the game while getting a good workout!
