making my fiance a new purse

Rye @xnemone.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I think I just need to restructure how I consider writing original works to be able to do it successfully. I’ve always thought of it as this difficult, torturous journey of creating a masterpiece when in reality you’re just writing fanfiction about your favorite little dudes

Something something Sigmund Freud

A screenshot from Discord that reads, “I treat my characters like psychologists treated their subjects in the 40s-70s. Unethically and with fascination.”

I just heard a clatter in the kitchen followed by my lovely fiance saying, in the most aggrieved voice, “Milo, that’s oregano.” Another clatter. “Milo, Fuck Off.”

apparently, I can only successfully complete a task right now if I give myself another task to avoid (eg. I’m making the donuts I’ve been wanting to make all weekend and now writing while the dough rises because I didn’t want to do a water change)

really good post that i really need everyone to absorb

tumblr text post by spiribia: I think it's fine if somebody describes a piece of media as life changing and earth shattering and bone shaking and it doesn't do much for you. I don't think the person who said that owes you an apology or anything. that's just the nature of people being different people

Have a Shen Qingqiu doodle I've slapped some color onto. What's that blush for? Well, let's just say. He's thinking things. Stuff and things.

Doodle of Shen Qingqiu from Scum Villain Self Saving System. The drawing is from the waist up. SQQ is looking up at the viewer with a blush on his cheeks and eyes that could almost be described as "bedroom."

I tried to draw demon lord Shen Yuan from @deisderium.bsky.social's fic, "in sheep's clothing" #SVSSS #人渣反派自救系统 #art

Shen Yuan as a demon in Deisderium's fanfiction, "in sheep's clothing." He wears blue robes, the style of which is inspired by hanfu, but more revealing. His sleeves and collar are decorated with auspicious clouds.

I occasionally get criticizing comments on old fics and I just have to say, bold of you to assume I know what you’re talking about. I don’t remember writing it to begin with, let alone why the characterization isn’t perfect
