Here's how you remove Google AI from your mobile devices.

Instead of being in settings its in the google app. Also, google, not chrome. Icon is a G, not the circle thing. Click on your pfp to open a menu

From there, go Settings > Gemini > Digital Assistants > Switch to Google Assistant. This disables Gemini, google's Al assistant, and switches you back to the old one. We aren't done yet.

Go back to Settings. From there, we go Settings > Google Assistant > scroll to find General > Google Assitant on/off > turn it off

They really tried their best to make it a pain, but you can eventually disable it. Holding the power button on your phone still pulls up a menu and asks you to turn it back on, but this is the least intrusive you can make it.

Applies to all non-apple phones afaik. For sure Samsungs and Pixels but idrk about others

all of this to say...she's healed up extremely well, especially with the protein stuff I've been bringing her. she's absolutely full of life again. she's herself again. and so finally she's potentially coming home within the next week or so. after almost 4 months. ;-;

for a few weeks she couldn't keep food down & had to go to the hospital again, but she's been doing better ever since. i've been loading her up on protein bars & shakes bc the food there sucks for the most part also. but all of the nurses have been so, so kind and helpful and accommodating.

THEN around end of March/early April is when she got taken to her current rehab place. EVERYONE there complained about the place she was at previously. there were even a couple nurses there that were working at the previous place, but had moved to this place bc they treated them better.

at the ER. THEN within the same week I had APS calling me about a complaint filed about me...over the state she was in coming from the first rehab center. this is also when we found out she had a deep "tunneling wound" on her tailbone. so we had to dispute that & she was at the hospital another week

they allowed her to go home after only 1-2 weeks. so about mid March, we drove out 40 min and brought her home. she got extremely sick due to not eating because their food sucked. when we got home, she couldn't make it up the stairs bc she had weakened so much again. so 2 hours later she was back

alright so!! thread inc!! as some may know, my mom had to be taken to the ER back toward the end of Feb. with proper fluids and meds, she was full of life again within a few days. she needed phys therapy however, so I had to convince her to go to a rehab center. that place was awful.
