Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 28/09/2026What’s the message here? You usually charge to upgrade on top of the monthly cost? “Congratulations! You're eligible for a free upgrade Upgrade to the Amazon Music Unlimited Family Plan at no additional cost for 2 months when you switch from your current subscription.” 120

Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Also consider Revelation and the hats they wear. I’m not religious but this is on the nose… “It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads” 000

Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 06/09/2026It was probably a stunt by Reform to deflect from Nigel Mirage “look here! SPARKLY THING” etc.. 020

Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 02/09/2026That was my one and only time experiencing it. I’m paranoid about earthing now. 000
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Thing is, he paused for a heartbeat and a silent “crap” when it happened but then carried on as if it hadn’t. 110
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Best one was watching a really arrogant person who insisted he was an expert in PC repairs. He took off the case, leaned over with a screw driver ready to start loosening screws when a loud “click” reverberated in the room. He and I realised he hadn’t earthed himself. One fried PC. 110
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 02/09/2026To be fair I think it was aiming to join team GB in the Olympics for the long jump, it was a long room and I had to walk quite far to fetch it. 110
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 02/09/2026I once tried upgrading a PC. I was being really careful to take out the CPU (pre ZIF) and ended up catapulting it across the room. I cried. 110
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Tidied up the office over the weekend and put all my unopened sketchbooks and empty pads into one place. Now realising I’ll probably be in the grave long before most of these will even have the shrink wrap removed! 030
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 29/08/2026How long before we all declare that it’s not working and those in charge go “we agree” and the dismantling of the NHS starts? 130
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 29/08/2026That’s not something you instigate in the name of efficiency and sustainability, quite the opposite since it introduces delays and chaos as you get a different person each time that’s starting from scratch with you, relying on you to give a detailed medical history - including test results. 140
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Becoming increasingly convinced that whoever is currently directing NHS policy has an agenda aimed at facilitating collapse. Local GPs are now outsourced but to hubs that don’t have access to our records. This means follow through on treatment has a lot of roadblocks and is pointless. 140
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 23/08/2026I have very little to no memory of the tests so it’s all good in that respect :) 000
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Got quite far with it - fantastic music by Gavin, great art by Steve but it lost the magic and simplicity of Space Harrier and I ended up never finishing it. Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 23/08/2026So I had a weekend of missing time. Blocks that I have no memory of and a brain fog that was horrible. It’s not great when you suddenly realise that you did or said something that day and have no memory of it. Even watching TV was disorienting. Being outside was marginally better. 130
Byron Atkinson-Jones @xiotex.bsky.social · 23/08/2026It’s been a weird weekend. Had a medical test on Thursday that required sedation. Turns out the sedation causes amnesia, which is fine as I don’t remember the procedure. What I didn’t know is it stays in your body for up to 48 hours and gets released in waves. 250
