they took down BL & danmei from peri+, and now the only source where indonesians can get LGBTQIA+ 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ stories locally might only be anime cons. i really hope this isn't the case, but i'm afraid it is at the end, i can only wish queers keep thriving even if only through fictional works

homophobes in indonesia are planning to harass a queer creator in an anime con. it really reminds me of when fandom antis threaten to harass "proshippers" at con. and by "proshippers" i mean queer people not appealing to conventional queer rules but sure the similarities are uncanny :)

honestly the thing i hated the most about twitter rebranding is the fact that every time i open a viral tweet, there are bluechecks in the replies trying to farm engagement by saying zero substantial shit. bring back people replying and saying goofy shit just for the sake of the game man

do you guys think real people can queerbait? people often use the word “queerbaiting” when talking about someone who dresses up like a queer when they’re not, but wouldn’t the correct word be “appropriating? AFAIK ‘queerbaiting’ originally talked about fake LGBTQ+ representation in fiction….
