I have found way too many Isenhart's pieces in my playthroughs. I think I like the D&D versions better.

David Saunders @xenozfan2.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I don't know why I never thought of doing this before, but I'm trying to do creations ahead of recording. This means I can record days before I usually do, to ensure I don't burn out trying to get editing done. Gosh, I hate editing.

I once built a brawling wizard. He probably would have been better if he got his hands on some of these items.

Good news for modern Diablo enjoyers. Diablo 2 fans...still take a look. The D5 team is looking for feedback, and I spend a good chunk of time talking about how you can give productive feedback instead of just "I like/don't like X".

Hopefully this means I'll be able to get back to doing longer videos. We'll see how long this lasts, though.

Between the recording and publishing of this video, things got tweaked a bit to reduce the time pressure in September (though school is still a big factor), so I might speed things up and round out the sets I had mapped out in a single video. (I planned 3 sets/video, but broke them up for this one.)

Bunch of stuff happened this week, so I needed a short video. Sorry.

Tim Curry, on the other hand, was an integral part of my childhood. Muppet Treasure Island was a family classic, and his Long John Silver was just a gem on screen. Beyond that, I owe him for his narration of my favorite book series, the Old Kingdom trilogy by Garth Nix.

I didn't know Dolly Parton at all, nor did I ever care for her music (not a country music person). But I know she cared for me, because her wealth funded the Reading Railroad program at my local library, at a time when my family didn't have much of anything.

I'm legitimately surprised at how quickly the idea of how to fix things came. I just wish it had come, you know, during the original draft.

David Saunders @xenozfan2.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

The moment I finished the audio, I knew I which changes I needed to make. I might do a Let's Fix next week, I might not, but stay tuned for some major updates to the subclass.

@colbypoulson.bsky.social Have you done a throwing build yet? Human Champion fighter with Thrown Weapon Fighting, Dueling, and Archery fighting styles who uses darts for a +2 to hit/+4 to damage? Or a Soulknife/Champion for Sneak Attack and a bonus action attack?

Short video today. Got hit with the delay bug. Should be back to usual uploads next week.

Project's done, hopefully. I might actually start the one I intended to do when I started that project but got distracted, but I'm still going to have shorter videos for the foreseeable future. I like these runewords. I might make Flickering Flame for my D2R druid since it's cheaper than I thought.

David Saunders @xenozfan2.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

I'm taking it slow this week, with only 10 runewords instead of last week's 16. I'm starting D4's season two weeks late, so I've got some catching up to do. I also am working on a few other projects, so the next few videos will be a bit lackluster. Sorry! Also, school's starting next month.

This, of course, took a ton of time to do. Balance is out the window, so they're very clunky, but mechanically similar.

Tired of making this video and excited to be done, BUT the work going into it was a ton of fun. I make several spreadsheets over ~12 hours. I like making spreadsheets.

I missed the exact date (June 8), but the work I've done has just passed three years. I started with the druid's vine because I caught the bug of "how would I make it?" and I haven't looked back. I've put so much into this and learned so much. Without this project, much of my time 1/3

@theasianavenger.bsky.social I've been thinking about stories and superheroes lately. What would you think of a "what if" series where the heroes and villains switched roles? Like Doc Ock is a legitimate brilliant hero and Spider-Man's this guy seeking revenge for, I don't know, a stolen patent?

I wasn't sold on how well I did going in, and coming out the other side I still have questions. I warmed up to them, but getting some more eyes on them would be great.

If anyone has knowledge of D&D and/or Diablo (specifically 2) and is capable of critiquing item balance in either/both games, contact me. I'd love to pick your brain about items for an upcoming @diablotodnd.bsky.social video, since I'm crap at making them.

Summoners are by far my favorite build. No items this week, since I wanted to get another warlock subclass up and running. I've already made a few tweaks after editing that should be very helpful for the subclass by easing a pain point or two.

David Saunders @xenozfan2.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

I realized the first two were attached to barbarians, then I decided to skip some letters and grab Immortal King because of it, but also because the average set has 4 items and the first two had a total of 5.

In celebration of the United States's 250th anniversary, the leadership of my church issued a video to be discussed in church. I've cut it up for publication here, but you can find it on lds.org. Both the presenters here as well as the leader of the church, Dallen H. Oaks, have a background in law.

@shivambhatt.bsky.social I think you'll appreciate what we talked about in church today. Since the US is approaching 250, Church leadership released a video talking about religious freedom in our nation's founding. It's the second visual element. www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/manual...

Set items are an interesting part of Diablo. Translating them into D&D was a difficult balance, but I think I did a good job. Let me know what you think.
