You write by selecting statistically likely next words. The default is a simple trigram model (given the past two words, what is the most seen next word from the Gutenberg Poetry corpus). Press escape to change the look and datasource. More features coming very soon.

I love that poems I submit are being tagged as AI poetry. But this is only true to the extent that spellcheck is a form of AI! My earlier writing (linked) was very interested in procedural mimicry, what can't be generated. Now I think about happenstance, contingency, and textural interest.

An oldie about trying to text your friends about birds. I can't remember if I ever shared this here.
A comic called "birds I have seen according to autocorrect". The art shows six birds with a chat message under each one that displays the autocorrected name. The Great Potoo, a speckled bird that resembles a branch, is autocorrected to Great potion. Dunlin, a shorebird with a downturned bill, is Dunkin'. Garganey, a colorful duck, is Gargantuan. Brambling, a small brownish songbird, is Bra bling. Pomarine Jaeger, a fierce sharp-winged seabird, is Pomading Jaegermeister. Sora, a little rail with a lemon yellow bill, is Soda.
