Demands to Sony: - Keep discs. - Open digital market. - Digitally acquired licenses may not be revoked by the seller. - Communication related punishments must not restrict access to anything else but the commutation related features. No excuses accepted.

'Reasonable' sellers were aware that pissing off their customers isn’t beneficial to the customer relationship.

Hmm I’m gonna keep an eye on that, I can’t seem to replicate it rn. So far it seemed to happen quite randomly although never as bad as in the recording above…

Your bad art is better than AI slop.

four frame comic. first frame shows a typical AI poster that says : All chatgpt flyers look the same, especially with this font! the text above it reads : I won't go to your event if the poster was made by AI. second frame shows a still frame from a Hank Green youtube video. text above reads : I won't read your post or email and I won't watch your video if they were made with AI. third frame shows an AI restaurant poster of burgers and chicken in a window. text reads : I won't patronize your shop or restaurant if it is advertised with AI. last frame shows an MS paint window with badly written : Your bad art is better than AI slop. text reads : if you can't take the time or make the effort to interact with me yourself, then why should I do it?

i'm gonna boost what oomf said and say this affects metadata only. everything else you can opt out of, although it opts you in by default. us.seibert.group/blog/atlassi...

What to do before August 17

1.) All customers: Go to Atlassian Administration → Security → Data contribution and turn off in-app data collection. Do this before August 17. Applies to all plans.

2.) EU customers with residency requirements: Ask Atlassian explicitly whether data residency settings exclude data from the AI training pipeline. Get the answer in writing.

3.) Regulated industries (financial services, public sector, healthcare): Involve your DPO. Review the updated DPA. Don’t rely on general reassurances.

4.) Enterprise customers: Both metadata and in-app data settings are off by default for Enterprise. Verify and document your settings regardless.
