Zakk @xena202.bsky.social · 25/08/2026Interesting call. Potentially counters the “Matthew effect” of grant funding. One down side is that ECRs and EMCRs can’t be included on such ‘rolling DPs’ for this round. 020 0
Zakk @xena202.bsky.social · 04/01/2025We love our local independent bookstores. I’ve also been trying Xigxag. It has a ‘read along’ option for some of their audiobooks, which is really cool and helpful for some brain types. Rated highly by Ethical Consumer in the UK for audiobooks. 011 0
Zakk @xena202.bsky.social · 04/12/2024Yup. I’m pretty sure there’s research to back this up 😁 and music immediately comes to mind. It’s very good for brain development. 020 0

Zakk @xena202.bsky.social · 21/11/2024Library tip. Borrow lots of books, get your neighbours to do it too. Keeps the stats up so people can say “Hey this library gets used a lot” and supports continued funding. 020 0
Zakk @xena202.bsky.social · 21/11/2024Yes, so the *majority* of eligible Americans did not actually vote for Trump. Despite what some people keep blaring. Looks like about 30%. 000 0
