anybody else obsessively change the wallpapers and themes on every device they own every time they get a new hyperfixation to be related to that hyperfixation? and totally not related, anyone else have a shit ton of wallpapers of random niche things saved on their devices

sometimes when I have a dream and realize I'm dreaming, I like to just stand there and marvel at how detailed and realistic the environment is. it never fails to amaze me

im too confident and ambitious for my own good. I really believe I can do literally anything no matter how complicated it is. but hey, I prefer this to the complete lack of confidence and ambition ive had my entire life up until a year ago lmao

So I FINALLY got a notes app for my game development journey that allows me to have very neatly sorted folders within folders for all my notes. It's SO useful WHY HAVE I NEVER DONE THIS like usually my notes are all over the place but NOW THEY'RE NEATLY ORGANIZED !!! im free at last 🥹

Xelby @xelbyte.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

instead of showering, I sat in the bathroom for half an hour manically scribbling down cool ideas for the game I'm developing. time well spent honestly, I had some BANGER ideas 😌

000

Xelby @xelbyte.bsky.social · 31/03/2025

I haven't put much thought into it yet, but knowing me, it'd probably be a psychological horror-esque dark mystery... with cats in it!

so far this year the songs I've played on repeat for at least 8+ hours have been Oh Klahoma by Jack Stauber, You by Tally Hall, and Taken for a Ride by Tally Hall. Honorable Mention: Love Me Normally by Will Wood ♡

000

Xelby @xelbyte.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

bad news guys. I had another good story idea and I'm tempted to temporarily ditch yet another story I was trying to work on in favor of writing it. fucking ughhhh what the duck

000

Xelby @xelbyte.bsky.social · 17/02/2025

people will be surprised when I don't remember something they tell me but like today. I literally listened to a song on repeat for 8 hours straight and now two hours later I legit don't even remember anything about the song lmao.

idk why my brain is so set on "I'm wrong and everyone else is right" to the point that my brain will think hmm maybe I accidentally slipped into an alternate timeline where what I think is actually wrong and I will GENUINELY believe that too like what

when the love interests of the main character try to kill them on multiple occasions before they get together but you still can't classify it as enemies to lovers bc they aren't technically enemies

the twink boyfriend and creature partner combo hits so hard

011

Xelby @xelbyte.bsky.social · 06/02/2025

why do all my good story ideas come at once. currently simultaneously writing 2 novel length stories, brainstorming for 2 more novel length stories, and I've got 2 more novels and a graphic novel sitting on the backburners. being a writer is so much fun

when I was imagining it it was only the person giving birth that had to do it. and like they didn't have to beat it *before* getting pregnant, they just had to be sure to 100% it before the baby was born or else

000

Xelby @xelbyte.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

in a state of half-consciousness last night I was thinking about super mario galaxy 2 and pregnancy (don't ask) and I convinced myself that, in order to be deemed worthy of having a child BY LAW, one must 100% super mario galaxy 2 and I was like wow I can't believe my mom did that... wild...

sometimes when I'm writing on my phone I get really excited about what I'm writing and I start growling while biting at my phone. typical novelist activities if you ask me 👍

me when the cold, distant, lone-wolf character in my story suddenly displays a moment of weakness and vulnerability: mwahahahaha... yes... the people go wild for THIS one... hehehee... *rubs hands together EVILLY*

oh my GOD my brain is so good at coming up with really really good story ideas, I truly was born for a creative roll. too bad I'll never get to use my talent to its greatest potential. forever cursed to a life of low public visibility 😔
