LegitimatelyHealthcare. people who want the government to give them an identity as well as meaning and purpose in life but also don't trust the government to manage their healthcare.

I'm not normally a conspiracy person, but what is the Trump administration doing that they're trying to make domestic espionage in pursuit of political power no big deal?

I'm going on the record now with an election prediction: one October surprise is gong to be Trump making a new, "stand back and stand by" comment when asked about potentially dismal outcomes for Republicans.

ICE snatched up a Senegalese college basketball player with an ACL injury in a Kentucky airport. She’s “in so much pain” and needs surgery, but is being transferred from camp to camp with little more than ibuprofen. www.kentucky.com/news/state/k...

Polls have been the past decade or so and I worry a lot of people taking these numbers at face value are getting out over their skis This will be a good, maybe even great, election for Democrats. But stuff like, "An 86 point shift away from the president!" should be greeted with extreme skepticism.

I promise you the original festival wouldn't have been canceled if Trump were still polling in the high 30s. Conservative culture is beholden to conservative political power.

I too would also not pay $1000 to see aging weirdos who could be exhibited in a carnival side show devoted to men who did have lost their cousin to alcoholism 20 years ago www.ibtimes.co.uk/kentucky-pol...
A Kentucky political festival featuring Kid Rock, Republican Rep. James Comer and reality television personality Duane 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Chapman has been canceled days beigeit was due to take place, after organizer Eric Deters said only six [alt-text aside: ha!] people bought the $1,000 (£748) VIPv tickets he had been counting on to fund the event.

Maybe his short attention span and disinterest in everything means his team can only get the most rudimentary of facts into his brain. Then he wings it from there using AI-style logic. Advisor: Ireland is divided. Trump's brain: most people like unity Trump's mouth: We all want Ireland united

Your annual reminder of what REALLY happened: Donald Trump went on WWOR Radio on 9/11/01--yes, that very day--to say that with the collapse of the Twin Towers, he now had the tallest building in New York. Which was a good preview of things to come, in that it was both disgusting and a lie.

I truly don't know why "Republicans are against nicknames; require submitting your identity to the state" wasn't a line in 2024. It points out both how weird they are, and how draconian.

That’s how bad crime was 40 years ago, people still panic about it but the fact they have to make shoplifting, being homeless, and teens getting together the scariest things around demonstrates how much less violent crime there is at the moment,

This dude's head should be moving though, right? Like, at least a little?
A blurry screenshot taken from the clip of Trump's speech. I've drawn a red circle over the head of a gentleman in the bottom left of the picture. How gentle is this man? So gentle that he doesn't appear to move at all during the clip. It's very unnatural.
