Playing Kedamono Opera, I loved how feats came with thematic portents as downsides or thematic shenanigans, which made me think about how I've wanted more support for powers going wrong or causing chaos in Chuubo's. So here's what Chuubo might look like in a hypothetical "Jam Opera" hack:

A Kedamono Opera-style character sheet for Chuubo, the Wishing Boy, giving him Social Authority, the Nature "A perfectly ordinary kid", the Opera "Wishing", and Feats "A Little Push", "Kaiju Form", "Let's Talk", "Peace-splosion", and "Effective Daydreamer".

A yard sign reading "Butterflies Love Parsley and the Constitution. Pollinator Gardens for Democracy." Dill, fennel, and bee balm are also listed in a haphazard manner.

Your Proper Place, my incomplete ashcan YA fantasy ttrpg about breaking rules and finding a place to fit in, now has really fun cover art by the amazing @angryartist.bsky.social! xavid.itch.io/your-proper-...

Cover of "Your Proper Place" by Xavid, showing an older woman with a clawed cane, a brightly-dressed juggler, a person embroidering in an embroidery hoop, a black teenaged girl with batlike wings, and a mouse making their way through a grassy stone labyrinth.

I'll be at Arisia tomorrow at Sarah Morrison's Artist Guest of Honor signing with some Dreampunk stuff. If you're there, come say hi!
