She became a lot more popular after skaar got nerfed to 7 cost since it gives her another easily accessible body to res with the change to her ability. I'm really hoping SD moves him back down to 6/10 and just gives his text minimum 1 cost or something

From having played almost nothing but mill since october, the early game is do-or-die in mill, getting iron patriot felt like a huge buff and now a lot of that feels gone with the hit to yondu. May have to try running the deck without him and possibly switching to some sort of Knull plan instead...

010

en @xatu1.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

The new Marvel Snap season is honestly good I'm just still very annoyed that they gutted mill by turning Yondu into a banish effect so it's now much harder to get a cheap Death out especially when Yondu was already the worst card in the deck

Got the charms for a card pull and got Bruce Banner brah this is the most washed gamemode of all time they need to remove this card from the game and rework it like they did with kitty pryde

I dont plan on posting here much but if I do it will likely just be me posting into the void about marvel snap cuz im like 18k in infinite right now and thats the best season ive ever had by a country mile

For as heavily debated as the Snap economy is, i think most players have kind of lost the plot towards what the actual issues are and how they need to be fixed. Maybe its because most people were not around for the beta and Nexus Events but i think theres a lot to learn from the game's dev history

This was a comment i posted on the latest episode of Alex Coccia's side of The Snap Chat and figured i should put it here so that more #marvelsnap players can end up seeing it Context: a viewer suggested a fix to econ by having s5 cards drop to 4 regularly and make series 4 obtained on the track

Tōru Iwatani: I wanted to create Pacman because I was fed up with the war games. I wanted to make a colorful game about something positive, like eating. Some exec with the mind of a 17 year old: What if Pacman slashed some noob and then fucked with its twenty inch dick

Pivoting to Wort, she asks you to run 1. Instants+Sorcs, 2. Token generation (preferably from #1). She imposes interesting limits while still being open enough for variety. For instance, you can run her as a go-wide tokens list or abuse copied ramp spells to fireball face for 50, three times

Mully also imposes interesting deckbuilding questions because it requires 1. LOTS of permanents & 2. Ways to pitch them to rez later. Theres a lot of modern commanders now that I don't think impose interesting limits and read as 'play your commander for card advantage' like the new Atraxa. So boring

en @xatu1.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

For those curious, one is a Wort spellslinger list and the other is a like $360 Muldrotha list because I'm a basic bitch. I really like Mully because it easily lets you play the game like Yugioh with searching into graveyard and effectively making the GY a second hand. Cinema

Spent the better part of the evening last night beginning the arduous task of tracking my MTG collection... this was just two EDH decks. Granted I think the bulk of my collection's value is located in these. Will be shocked if i finish and have above $1k.

Read Ultimate X-Men (2024) #1-6. Good. Peach Momoko lowkey the goat. Will confer with my local store to see if they have more issues. Last time I went they only had #2 and the trade paperback of 1-6 (which i bought). I also think i accidentally bought Ultimate Spider-Man #4 twice

Share a game you're pretty sure only YOU remember playing! Shatterhand on the NES. Still one of the best platformers I've played. Bonus points for the terrible box art too.

People keep trying to defend Balatro’s legitimacy in being nominated for The Game Awards, but that misses the larger point that The Game Awards are deeply embarrassing and you don’t need to care about that.
