"Hey. Can't sleep as well?" That's what Emma finds one night in the kitchen. I think they'll have a chat and some tea too before they go to bed eventually. Started that during this summer's heatwaves and put my mood into it. She's my lockscreen since. I just love her. ♥ #art #OC

Drawing of a pale thin woman sitting infront of an open window smoking at night. She leans on the table looking at the viewer with a sceptic expression. The red smoke is flowing outside the window.

Ray trying to show Gilbert that wisps are friends, which was a good idea until Ray realizes they'd get scared too if Gilbert gets scared. Big shoutout to @rhianthialritak.bsky.social for sponsoring this :3c

Three panel comic. Panel 1 shows my OC Ray holding their hands gently around a wisp, trying to show Gilbert that they are not dangerous. Gilbert is tuning around. Panel 2 shows Gilbert being scared of the wisp, but now Ray is scared too because they are an empath. Panel 3 shows both of them backing away from the wisp

Wowowow I actually draw something!! Chaos timeline Albus after he gets all cleaned up. Give him a big blanket. He's cold now.

A drawing of a man with dragon features sitting on the ground facing left. He is looking pensive with his hands held close to his body and legs tucked in. His wings are also angled down. His colours are grey and spotted with opal accenting on his horns and inside his wings.

Wooo I successfully started / worked on 4 comms today, we're so winning My To Do List cards didn't move an inch tho, that feels weird 😂 I promise I'm doing good progress (maybe I shouldn't categorize the halloween comms as warm ups)

That's funny!! I was looking up superhero books today and I found Vicious as well... wasn't sure what to think of the way the person explained the plot so maybe they just didn't do a good job selling it xD Don't think I'm hyped for werewolves but All for the Game sounds interesting 👀

Maxie 🧸 Comms Open @xanthouransong.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

woah thanks for all the recs!! Queer rep is a BIG plus so I appreciate those, I feel like it's difficult to research good queer books that just have rep and don't FOCUS on the queer part mainly 😩 New books might be a bit difficult to get but I will look through all of them eventually!

Maxie 🧸 Comms Open @xanthouransong.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

ahhhh good to know mutated animals sounds interesting - wasn't metro also having radiation so i guess it's that kind of mutation? I always felt like the games would be way too spooky for me xD

110

Maxie 🧸 Comms Open @xanthouransong.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

I get a comparison from ‚Nothing‘ to ‚Lord of the Flies‘ and immediately get what you mean 🤣 Never read either but I heard it‘s.. something else I‘ll keep that for my list! (and yeah fantasy isn‘t really my thing especially when it‘s set far in the past 😭)

Jeremy grabs a backpack and starts looking for something
Everyone gets excited thinking he is fetching snacks

I really enjoyed Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant but I don‘t like the Parasite series of the same author because of the zombie elements I also liked ‚Tender is the flesh‘ by Agustina Bazterrica BUT I have to admit I can‘t relate to the wanting a baby topic so it wasn‘t fully my thing either

Figured I can ask here cus why not Anyone got book recommendations for me? I like modern settings, I don‘t really like fantasy It would be GREAT if it‘s not a story based in the USA I like horror but I hate zombies 😫 Happy to delve into other genres, idk what I like (that‘s the problem) (rambles)

Happy #PortfolioDay I'm Sniv I draw creatures

Drawing of an Argonian werewolf on all fours baring his fangs in warning at an intruder

Close up of a grey dragon with long black horns and steel wings with a scythe on the end of his tail soaring through the air as he breaths green fire over the mountains. Fire can be seen rising through the mountain range as green lightning rages in the background

A black and white painting of a yutyrannus in a snowy forest at night. It is very dark, except for a flash of light illuminating the dinosaur. His eyes glow as they reflect the light back, giving him a monstrous appearance. It is snowing quite heavily.

A blond Altmer werewolf casting red lightning. The moon shines red behind him, while he stands between the clouds. His eyes glow menacingly bright yellow

Two halfbody complex renders of Alekos and Booker, laying on the ground at night. Booker leans above Alekos and reaches for him, a determined but dulled look in his eyes, as if he's being pulled forward by his heart. Alekos looks at him with his mouth slightly open, and ready for a kiss :'3

A collection of simple render portrait commissions.

Illustration of the Bamboozelers from Life series in Western inspired attire in the Bam Bunker!

A full illustration of a snowy landscape, with Alekos as a child holding a dogger covered in blood, and a current Alekos standing behind him. In front of them both is the dead form of their father. Adult Alekos has his back toward it, but his face turns back with a grave expression, as if he can’t and will never completely turn away.
