I love this time of year because the final harvest means amazing garden fresh meals every night and I hate this time of year bc I have so much gd'd fresh food that I really can't justify eating out and I keep having to cook.

Just repaired my mother's probably 100yo table-top double sided mini ironing board ( think she called it her "sleeve board"). Mechanism was solid but the cover had fallen apart and it's now a non-standard size. Fixed the cover with some iron-on backing, reglued and it looks great. Little things.

I always forget how long quiche takes bc of all the prep and waiting. This one is in homemade pastry with my garden vege - spinach onion cherry tomatoes and parsley (so it’s RFK and Brooke Rollins-proof). Should be cool enough to cut in about 40 minutes.
