Models come in many forms: math, semantic, vibe, etc. I guess the answer kind of depends on how you count things emergent from the physical world. I’m with him on “no” because that seems like a straightforward dependency, but I can imagine some forms of transcends-its-origins-upon-emergence models.

Just to be that tedious nerd, “narrowed” would require a different measurement than the one used, but my bet is the data would be too noisy to show it or even separate it from changing intellectual focus. *AND* I agree the point is the shots-fired vibe rather than understanding the field so 🤷🏽
